I watched this movie with my father one night for the first time in the early 80s in Mississippi when I was around five years old. I have loved it ever since. I remember he tried to make me go to bed at first and told me that I could not watch it because it was rated R. Then the intro came on and I saw that it was rated PG and he let me watch. I don't remember much about my father since he left when I was eight or nine years old but I remember watching Lone Wolf McQuade and Rocky 3 with him as a kid.
Whenever you guys have the chance to listen this track, embrace it as a token of gratitude and a tribute to the meaningful role model of your fathers on your education and skills. 😑🙏
I took watched it as a kid in the early 80s. On the double screen theater in our town. The opening scene stands out in my mind to this day. If it's not chucks best work it's certainly one of his best.
Man... This movie is easily one of the best action movies of the 80's and my favorite Chuck Norris film. I've showed this movie to my friends and they all loved it. Fucking bad ass movie and soundtrack. God bless David Carradine and Chuck Norris!
Yeah movies Aliens, The Terminator, RoboCop, Predator, Conan The Barbarian, Rambo 1 and 2, Escape From New York, Die Hard, Indiana Jones 1 and 3, Mad Max 2, Commando, Lethal Weapon 1 and 2, Top Gun, The Killer (John Woo), Batman (1989), Tango and Cash, Big Trouble In Little China, Highlander, Black Rain, Magnum Force, Fire Fox, Runaway Train, Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, 48hrs, Never Say Never, A View To A Kill, Licence To Kill, Octopussy, A Better Tomorrow (1986), Police Story (1985), Prokect A (1983) in the 80s had "no chance" against Lonewolf McQuade. It was Chuck's best movie but it's not even top 20 as 80s action movies.
Best Chuck Norris movie. This music throughout makes it. I remember it was always a weekend movie on the USA network. Whoever gave a thumbs down. ... move along.

Undoubtedly Chuck Norris's best film, in part because of the story but also the score, which gives it that old west good vs. evil feeling. Keep on kicking, Norris!

This opening and that music...... Such are my childhood memories. My dad was a truck driver. He was gone 3 or 4 days out of the week. When he was home he liked his movies. He would wake us up early in the morning to work throughout the day on the property but at the end of the day it was movie time. I watched this movie many times with him.
This movie should not be remade, Never ever mess with classics like this Hollywood. Besides who in this day in age can fit Chuck Norris' role, no one. Remaking this is like remaking Rambo: First Blood or even Schwarzenegger's Commando. My point there should be a law against remaking great classics.
I used to live in El Paso when they made this movie. 1983 great year! Naturally they got good security, they got Chuck Norris! Most of the City was 'roped off' during filming. Good to see the Civic Center still standing all these years! :)
BlueNote BigBends I like Lone Wolf Mcquade better than Walker... Just because Chuck Norris was younger and didn't need a double because walker couldn't move the same as when he was younger
In the series the CBS forced Chuck Norris to have a stunt double because they could not allow Chuck Norris to be injured because if that happened they would have to suspend the filming and that would cause millionaire losses.
Alessandro Alessandroni was responsible for the whistling, his own choir group provided their voices to the score, Franco De Gemini was responsible for the harmonica, and Francesco De Masi was responsible for bringing them all together to create this wonderful score.
Watched this film over and over as a kid and can honestly still remember it word for word coming across this made me watch ut again there atill a fucking classic
My old man was law enforcement in Turkish Police. I grew up watching these movies back in Cyprus, we moved overseas years ago, now I am an officer for Law enforcement myself, I get to work with K-9 every now and then. I don’t remember how I got to this video but this opening theme always haunts me. Such a beautiful music.
@@SagaSagaVGM Indeed, still this movie is criminally overlooked. Walker Texas was a good show in the beginning, and this was a great but still rather unknown movie at it's time. For a movie to launch a, rather popular, TV series, people oughta know about the movie as well.
