All they had to do was update MVC 2 by adding 50 more characters and bug fixes. We would have had an amazing game but instead we got MV3 which was ok and Infinite which was probably one of the worst fighting games ive ever played

They should've added less depth of field to the background (shallow depth of field). Of all the MVC games this one is hard to follow due to the detailed animations and great graphics. Sometimes too much is too much.

This game could've been something great. I mean you had a story mode where we had Ultron AND Sigma teaming up which is fitting for their similar abilities and is the bad guy of the game. But the game had so many other flaws that made it not so great the graphics not looking up to date for a console game, certain models look off completely (i.e Chun Li and Dante), the story had a lot of writing flaws as if it was written like a fanfic (irony), messed up themes for a lot of the roster, and they didn't have a BALANCED roster like how can you have more Marvel characters than Capcom characters? That's insane... Here's hoping Capcom learned their lesson and maybe we could get an actual 4th installment of MvC.
Very noisy visuals, lots of background clutter even for a flashy fighting game, poor visual readability, and like most modern fighters...WAY TOO MUCH TALKING. Also that versus screen loading time was a cardinal sin. Almost 30 seconds of staring at stillshots in silence. Some MATCHES wouldn't take that long. It's clear they spent WAY too much time on flashy animations and detailed character models and not nearly enough actually designing a fighting game.

I don't see how they didn't notice that having each individual character chime in at low health is actually LESS clear than a single voice. I mean, even some first generation comic issues don't have characters talking this much between blows...
It's a miracle it turned out this good with the issues going on behind the scene. If they let them develop this the way they were originally going to this would easily have been the best one so far. Hopefully they do this the way they intended for the next one.
