I'm really enjoying your films pal. I find Muirhouse really interesting for some reason and there's not a lot on it. So good work mate. Thanks.

Great little documentary. This film is a little bit of history. You should do as many as you can on Pennywell and Muirhouse because in 10 years it will be completely different. Will be good to look back on your films. Thanks for posting it on youtube.

I grew up in a wee village called Pumpherston. And i seriously have no idea what its like to live in Muirhoose as we called it or anywhere north. Later in life i had a boyfriend who lived in woodburn, wow that was bad enough. I am enjoying your work i have just discovered it. Keep it up doll xxx

At the very end when you are looking at the camera is where I spent my teenage years. Just to the right of you I was in 10 pennywell grove. The ground floor to the left of the stairwell. I walked down that path, well the original path before the council did the area up, to get married in 1982.

Well I enjoyed your film anyway. My folks stayed in one of those flats for quite a while, and it done them no harm.

My Granny & Grandad lived there from when they were built, until they were demolished. My Granny was the last one in the block. Amazingly, over all those decades she never had any real bother. But it was beginning to annoy her that she she worked all her days for a pension but had to stand in the post-office queue with Somali immigrants as they collected their free benefits.
