Pastor Of Muppets His father physically abused all of them but I think Michael got the worst of it. Such a sad situation. Agree, we’ll always have the music♥️
Yeah, all those kids had it hard, so remember them back then, were around my age then as well...just love seeing Michael dance and sing. He was so talented and the system really messed him up.
It makes you wonder if people were so jealous of his talent and mistreated him as a result of their jealousy. I agree, his father was horrible to that talented young man. It ruined him on the inside, which we watched over his adult years really tear him up.
@@pam1574 Plus, it seems those around him, even after his father's abuse, were all abusive in their own ways. I wonder if there was ever anyone who he could truly trust.
Jermaine Jackson is the other person singing. He left the group in the mid 70's to start a solo career and some hits in the 80's . He was married to Berry Gordy's daughter.
Jermaine had some hits too, like Do What You Do, Don't take it Personal, Let's get Serious, Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin', If you say my eyes are beautiful & Take good care of my heart.
Michael and his brothers really had a hard life. Especially Michael. He never had a real childhood because he started entertaining so young. He built Neverland to experience some form of childhood. He shared with other children. Michael is phenomenal. I really love his song ,"Ben". The theme song to the movie Ben. ❤❤❤
Little MJ - You can see the star quality then - thats Jermaine Jackson (who went on to have his own solo career)!!! Love your reaction - it brought a smile to my face, too!!!
Growing up with Michael in the late 60’s and early 70’s was so cool. Oh being in elementary school wearing bell bottoms and enjoying such a wide variety of music. Nothing was off limits when you had intelligent cool parents who truly believed and taught us we should treat all people respectfully and equally. My parents were way ahead of their time
I was just a kid when the Jackson 5 hit the stage, and I was immediately in love. What a beautiful set of voices, Michael especially. Even as a child, he had immense charisma. And yes, I still get goosebumps from this song.
@donafuller: Michael was singing in NIGHCLUBS at FIVE! I don't know how young the Bee Gees were when they started out, but if any of them were five, then it's another sad story....... Bee Gees were great!
Absolutely one of the most beautiful love songs ever. Hurts my heart a little to hear it. That beautiful boy was just an elementary school age child. Let that sink in. ❤💔❤
@Eowyn: Yes, the way that he performed, the charisma, the stage presence, the innocence, the professionalism, the voice, it is truly astounding the gift that he was given. NEXT LEVEL.......
It breaks my heart to think of what those children endured at the hands of their "father" Joe Jackson. Many stories came out in autobiographical works from the kids telling about his abuse. I think the fact that the dad was such a monster is what motivated them towards excellence. A swinging belt and a fist works wonders on getting a child performance-ready at all times. MJs talent was legendary.
I grew up with the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson as a kid. He was a talent everybody knew would be life lasting. The end of his life was tragic but he was awesome. God Bless him.
Jackson 5...Michael Jackson was such a star most of his life. I wish his childhood had been happier and sad that he is gone already. Great song, great reaction!
Jermaine Jackson. Lot's of talent. Michael was what one calls a phenom . . . Rare talent; possibly the greatest entertainer ever to live, in modern era!
They were such hard working kids. I couldn’t imagine a childhood like theirs. But their hard work and sacrifice gave us all such beautiful music forever.
A kid born to sing and dance. A true king, god of music. To be this age and sing like that live..r.i.p beautiful soul and men 😢😢🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😢
Michael is such a little cutie in that outfit and his voice wow he would of been 62 now his birthday was couple of days ago 29th August. Can you please react to Got To Be There or ABC ☺️
Every time you react to a song from the early 70s. I drift back in time and I'm sitting in the back seat of our car in-between my sisters and my parents are in the front seat. Dad driving. I miss that a lot
"Ben" is technically a Michael Jackson solo effort even though it came out when the group was still together. It was written and performed for the soundtrack of a movie called "Ben" which was the sequel to the horror movie hit "Willard."
Michael & I were both born in 1958, so in a lot of ways we grew up together. I was much more of a Rock & Roller, but I appreciated the Jackson’s talent, especially Michael & especially this song.
His voice is literally pitch perfect here and he's what like 7 years old? That's one of the best vocal performances I've ever heard. Born to be iconic man
50 yrs ago this was a hit, I was 8 years old so been listening to the Jackson 5 since then, crikey where did it go, seems like yesterday. The 70's was choc ful of talent, we were spoilt rotten. Michael Jackson was such a gorgeous looking kid but he paid the price for his crazy talent from such a young age
Jermaine Jackson is the other vocalist/brother singing on this song. He had some solo hit songs in the 80s - "Let's Get Serious" (written by Stevie Wonder), "Do What You Do", "Tickle Your Fancy."
When I was about 8 ( a long time ago lol) me and another girl did this song in a talent contest. We came in second BUT the group that came in first did the same song lol. We were all neighbors and friends. Man, those were great times!
Listening to songs like this truly bring back a lot of childhood memories and I am so glad to have grown-up during this period of time with such fantastic music!
It's both amazing and heartbreaking seeing such a young, talented, innocent Michael Jackson when we know the rest of the story. RIP Michael and thank you for the endless gift iof your music.😢
When I was 13, I had one of my bedroom walls covered in pictures of the Jacksons, another with the Osmonds, and a third one with David Cassidy. The fourth was left clear to remind me what the wallpaper looked like!
Jermaine Jackson is singing along with Michael. Check out: "I Found That Girl", "Touch" and "I Am Love", Jermaine is prominenly featured on these jams and also check out some of Jermaine's solo jams, such as "Let's Be Young Tonight", "Castles Of Sand", "Let's Get Serious", "You Like Me Don't You" and "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy".
There’s always been great singers, but then Michael Jackson came along and showed them all what a true gift for music is. He didn’t just have a gift for music, he was music from head to toe.
I remember loving this as a kid! That is his brother Jermaine singing second lead as he usually did! His other bothers there on stage were Jackie, Marlon and Tito! Randy joined much later!❤️❤️
This song is so beautiful as is the production, the vocals the performance. I can never remember a time in my life that the Jacksons where not famous-from a very young age I was aware of Michael in particular. My sister had all the Motown stuff so he and they where always present. Amazing memories This song fills me with sadness and joy
I hate the way he was treated by his father, but I can't imagine a world without Michael's sweet voice. He paid a high price to give us his gift.

At this age he sang songs like he lived through the feelings
Because he probably did LMFAO. This man was probably depressed at 5 years old.

And then you have evil humans that try and destroy him for their own financial gain.

Wasn’t he precious?! Such a great song, such a pretty voice, such personality. He had an amazing gift and he WAS an amazing gift!
Oh my gosh! My favorite Michael Jackson friendship song is "Ben." A wonderful song.
Ben is my favorite too.

He was pure talent! That’s Jermaine Jackson...also great!
Sweetie, did you know barry gibb named his 4 the son after Michael. And Michael Jackson is godfather to Michael gibb. 💖💖💖
WOW... did not know that!

"Never Can Say Goodbye" one of Michael's best vocals, great song by Clifton Davis. "Mama's Pearl" is always great to hear too!
