this collab with noah schnapp was recorded before all of the craziness of having to stay at home and protect yourself and others from spreading the virus.
i want to remind you that we are all in this together. i know that it’s not easy but i hope that you can stay positive and stay virtually connected to your friends and family. this will all eventually end and things will get better!!
so for this collab, noah teaches me how to act and so you can be the judge if i pulled it off or not. i'll just tell you this - it’s way harder than you think it is!
i hope this video can help take your mind off of things for a few minutes and i really hope it makes you smile.

Knowing she has social anxiety, coming from a person who has social anxiety, I can say that Charli did absolutely amazing. I know Charli wasn't trying to be "awkward" or "rude" because people with social anxiety have trouble meeting people for the first time (it's terrifying) so we come off that way but we're actually just scared and it takes a while for us to open up. We're already constantly afraid of people judging us so the fact that she had to act (something she's never really done before) in front of someone who's literally a professional only makes it more terrifying because of the potential judgment. People without social anxiety would feel awkward acting in front of Noah so the fact that she was able to act in front of him with social anxiety (and after just meeting him) is just incredible. I would never be able to do that with my social anxiety and I know it's different for everyone but she was so brave to even try to act out the scene and she actually did pretty well. I feel like in videos I've seen, people comment that Charli's awkward or cannot keep up the conversation when she really just has social anxiety so I hope people can begin to understand that. After watching the docu-series I have so much more respect knowing she has social anxiety because I have it and I know it's extremely difficult to deal with in private let alone in the blinding public spotlight like Charli has to deal with. Charli deserves so much love.
