Before 1947, the Dandi Swamy Ashram was a garden type simple residence of the saint. He never interacted with the people present for his Darshan. I remember seeing him walking by on his fixed time and path.I don't remember him speaking on religious or social issues. I am a proud Ludhianvi who spent his childhood (1942 - 1956) in Ludhiana and now a retired USA professor living in Baltimore area..
