Lewis hats of to ya the average Joe just don't understand what's involved in hedge work of this magnitude we did one onec and brought portable tower in night mere and it's the acces issues width all factors ,nice work from you as always can tell you do a lot of hedges shows in the work it's like for me you have be at one with the hedges and go with it if you look at it all it's just like wow it's too much this , ya need some t shirts "hedge warrior "
Thanks 👍 that hedge needs flattening so come on down👌😂. The 86 I mainly use for what you saw there, high side and anything wide the 65/ 66 can't reach. It does speed up high sides working from floor and not moving steps along. Tops I normally use the km111 petrol unit as tops thicker but I'm suffering with tennis elbow so happy to let the battery gear take a hit for a while
Kev in Ireland here great job I'm a bit to old for that kind of job turning 60 this year youth is a great thing look after yourself how many batteries did it take again great job
Did a conifer hedge this week,in the pissing down rain, got the stuff stuck to me and the equipment. Up the ladder cutting the top, client, comes out,its raining, can you move your truck out the drive,l'm going out. Fuk it,l'm off home, clear it up yourself. I did'nt😂l cleared the stuff, put it in her wheelie bin and thought to myself, pull that up your gravel drive cos it weights a ton😂
Hi, this was a couple of weeks ago. Fine days and mild frosts, we cut conifers all year and never have had any frost damage or from the heat during summer. Damage we see is usually cutting past the growing line or blunt blades leaving rips that brown off. Thanks for watching 👍
Great job … I did a CONNIFER hedge this morning but safe to say not as big as yours …I use the older battery hedge cutter and it’s just the job although a touch underpowered as if you throttle off a touch it pulls the blades into the hedge ( all been there ) … yes tennis 🎾 elbow etc is a friend of the gardener … it does get better and wearing a support is a must …. Keep up the good work 👍
Cheers 👍 I find dull blades and conifers are the worst. Tennis elbow 🙄 trying everything at the moment...even a few days off 😱 Thanks again for watching 👌
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd yes sharp blades are a must as you know .. and those supports you wear do work as keeps the muscles warm … I’ve had pains running up my thumb etc .. did some turfing earlier in the week and couldn’t pick it up out of the barrow ….it’s a good job we love the work as we do ….😀👍

@@carl8035 it would need to be at yearly intervals max for me to do again, this went just over 18 months I think due to covid and nearly 3 for one section which made the top difficult for the hedge trimmers. Nice work, got to love a bit of hedge walking 👍👍

Mate you have jinxed me I have ended up in and old school tidy up yesterday to long winded to go into it but first and last of the year lol 🤣
Just say no next time 😅
Amazing job, biggest hedge I’ve ever seen, you need danger money for that.

Lovely job and looked satisfying

Have done some hedges the same it's the width of them that's the killer. But a great job
