I have this watch in all black for maybe more than ten years now. It has accompanied me in all my vacations. I have taken it everywhere, sun, sand, and sea. This watch is very cheap, practical, no nonsense and tough.
I just got one, and I can't believe how excited I am about a watch that costs so little, but has so much class. :) I've had a Seiko and Citizen, and they are great, but to be able to get a clean, incredibly functional watch for so little, makes me look at Casio in a whole new light...absolutely spectacular.
Interval timer is amazing for work. I have a set process in the laboratory - blend for 30 seconds, mix for 5 minutes, homogenize for 7 minutes, stir for 5. This saves so much hassle. I dont think there's another watch (at any price) that does this. Yes, there are phone apps, but this is always on your wrist.
I have two these watches, it is very aesthetically pleasing design. Word of warning the three dials that indicates the minutes & seconds are genuinely hypnotic if you stare at them too long. Ironic for a watch designed for activities....it actually sends you to sleep.😂
Nice video! One thing that wasn't covered, apologies if I missed it, is that once the timer counts down to zero, it then starts counting up for tracking elapsed time after zero. Great for stoppage timing.
I swear I had a watch just like this in the late 90s and it had a scorekeeping feature on it! Like you could set up the intervals, start those countdowns, and then hit MODE one more time to send it to scorekeeper mode. Does this one have that, or do you have any idea what I'm talking about?
Unfortunately it doesn’t have that feature from what I can see. Casio have created many weird and wonderful watches over the years so I am sure that the one you are referring to will pop up on eBay some day soon. Thank you for commenting! Cheers, Tony - WTA
I think that the DATE & TIME on this CASIO AE1200 watch should be a larger size. There is some wasted real estate space on this watch. The DATE and TIME on the CASIO model W96H-1BV is a much larger size. I can see the TIME on it easily from 1 meter away ! The CASIO W96H-1BV is my favorite digital watch because it shows the TIME, DATE, DAY and YEAR all on the face without having to push any buttons for selection. You look at this watch and it shows everything all at once.... though the CASIO AE1200 watch is better when traveling to different countries. I do like the CASIO AE1200 and decided to buy one because of it's many features. I am going to modify it with the all metal SKXmod company watch kit.
Hi there and thank you for your question. It isn't the easiest stopwatch to use but I have just managed to reset the stopwatch by doing the following: • Make sure that the stopwatch is running. • You will notice that the letters STW will be blinking, if they are then you need to press the 'Start' button to stop the STW letters blinking (it is a kind of split time thing). • Now press the 'Adjust' button for a few seconds and you will now notice that the stopwatch has stop running and should be displaying the current time (as it has been reset). • Simply press the mode button a few times to get back to the main timekeeping mode. In the case of the letters STW are not blinking but the stop watch is still running then all you need to do is... • Press the 'Adjust' button for a few seconds and you will now notice that the stopwatch has stopped running and should be displaying the current time (as it has been reset). • Simply press the mode button a few times to get back to the main timekeeping mode. They are from a similar in function. Though the Casio Royale(AE1200) is significantly more expensive in most places. If you need world time. They both have that. The 1300 has intervals as well which is a good function for some. And the stopwatch also has the option for alarm at a certain time.
It does! Just cycle along the modes until you reach the alarm mode. Then if you press the bottom right hand button you can cycle through the activation of the alarms, you only need the bell icon to appear to activate the hourly signal on the Casio AE-1300WH. Hope this it helps! Cheers, Tony - WTA
I have this watch & I love it! Only thing is since i’ve been working out the watch looks smaller on me now & hate how it’s looking on me now…wish Casio could build a slightly bigger version of this design
Though a lot of the features are a little lost on me, for looks alone (especially the grey and black version of the Casio AE1300WH featured in this video) it is a really nice watch. If you already have the Casio AE1200WH then I would say that there is no harm in getting this watch also, as it shares the same shape and has a more dynamic layout. Great watch overall and I believe the Casio AE1300WH is well worth adding to your collection. Cheers, Tony - WTA
@@wetryanythingchannelFinally bought one yesterday Tony - the one with the yellow trim from Argos. Believe it or not, I actually needed a variable interval timer for a particular project. I'm no fan of the pointless dials myself but the features more than make up for that. Thanks for the recommendation.

Do those dials count down when the timer is running?
Please tell me red black version can red colour fade after some year
Hard for me to say I am afraid you would be better asking on a Casio forum to see if anyone has the black/red version.

Hey mate
I'm confused between ae1200 and this one ae1300
Are they same size?
Which one should i Choose ?

1300 bigger numbers from 1200 I have 3 different colors very nice model 👍👍👍
Does it have an alarm feature at the beginning of every hour?
It does! Just cycle along the modes until you reach the alarm mode. Then if you press the bottom right hand button you can cycle through the activation of the alarms, you only need the bell icon to appear to activate the hourly signal on the Casio AE-1300WH.
