Bloodhound's Fang is so absurdly strong that I even suspect that the stat might have been wrongly put. With 70 Strength and some decent dex its raw AR is even comparable to the Greatsword, if not outclass. But it is a curved greatsword and is much faster than a colossal sword. This gives it a ridiculously strong DPS. What's more, it can be obtained in the first hour of the game if you follow Blaidd's questline and it can carry you through till the end of NG+7.

In terms of looks yeah. But it isn't that bad either certainly not the worst curved greatsword. Onyx, Monk and Beastman are worse.

Good question, and why is onyx above it and beastman? Onyx is the only CS that is actually terrible.
Onyx Lord's Greatsword is easily the worst of the bunch and it is not close. Pretty weak AR combined with a terribly weak weapon skill. I don't think it actually beats any weapon in any category. Even with a magic infusion all of the other weapons will still beat it. Beastman's is next, it scales well off strength but is short and heavy. Omen's will also eventually outscale it even in Heavy. Omen scales better than most of the greatswords and all of the infusible ones pretty much regardless of infusion basically. Zamor and Magma have good weapon arts on meh weapons and Morgott has a good weapon art on a good weapon and all of them suck compared to the Bloodhound's Fang.
Dual Omen Cleaver Lightning infused im getting an AR of 868 per blade. with spinning slash on one & stormblade on the other. I do alot of jumping attacks & it generally 1 shots most people with the Claw talisman equipped.
Bloodhounds fang is that good? It’s one of my first few swords so I thought it was bad but I’ve been using it and thinking how great it actually was so I wanted to see what I could duel wield with it then I came to this video

I have the bloodhounds fang and the dismounter early in my gameplay and am going to dual wield them and put bloody slash on the dismounter. Can someone tell me if these two are a good pair or if there’s another sword that would pair better with bloodhounds fang?
You can use Reduvia's blood knife as a secondary weapon, it does good blood damage, just as long as you can wield it with two hands sometime.
@@naturalsilver3908 See that’s a good idea, but I like having two curved great swords because they’re of the same type and make better use of the dual wield attacks. Again, that’s a good point thank you. I’ll probably use Reduvia’s dagger with my bandit dual wield dagger build.
I had the same idea, and I did some testing and for the off hand weapon, omen cleaver is the best option because of its high ar and scaling.
@@epigrammaticAMV I started doing that but then I switched to Morgott’s cursed sword because it does bleed damage as well and has better overall damage.
