  • Have you heard of Mardin Turkey? This needs to be on your travel bucket list. We are currently on a 2 month road trip around Turkey and almost accidentally discovered Mardin and are so glad that we did! Mardin is a picturesque mountain town near the border of Syria, in the south easter part of Turkey. Between the incredible architecture, the amazing food... and of course the trash donkeys, we really need to consider visiting :)
The Airbnb we stayed at: abnb.me/VA7K8O...

Hi! We are Heather, Bradey, Alexa and Chloe.
We are raising our kids to face their fears, to step outside of their comfort zones and to try new things. Family travel is the best way we know how to do this.
We want to inspire others to travel with an open mind and to see that it is completely possible to travel and fly with kids! Traveling is one of the best things we have ever done to strengthen our family, and to open up our minds about how big this world is.
    Thanks for following along!

Loved the girls flowing red dresses. Just so cute, like flamenco dancers. Lovely to witness how sweet the Turkish people are towards your family. Seeing the world and earning respect from all the different people in other countri8es is the best education the girls could ever have. So many people are biased about different nationalities as they have pre-concieved attitudes towards other nationalities. We all share the same needs to be accepted. Rosie Hoy New Zealand

You visit beautiful places and cities in Turkey. I don't know why you did not add the Black Sea Region of Turkey to your trip but i think Black Sea Region is the most beautiful part of Turkey. Not just because it is the greenest part of Turkey, you will also experience another culture shock in there too. It is more like a mixed culture between Turkish culture and Caucasian cultures. If you went a bit of upwards, you would see how climate and people change.

We definitely don't keep Mardin for ourselves. But somehow it remains as our secret🤷 Maybe because of the lack of publicity. I think you also have felt the unbelievable magic of the city. Thanks to this; without even realising, everyone who comes to Mardin fells in love with this beauty. And thank you for video...

As a Turkish, I got shocked when I first visited Mardin as well. I also visited the monastries out of the city as well. I felt the root of civilazitons deeply there. Hope, I will visit again.

Thanks you for introducing my country very well.Because sometimes i see some foreigners describe my country as just bagel, fish and bread, free country.Or as if there are only Istanbul and Antalya. However, there are many alternatives to travel in Turkey.
Cute family you have to go Sümela and Göbeklitepe. You will not regret.
