- Have you heard of Mardin Turkey? This needs to be on your travel bucket list. We are currently on a 2 month road trip around Turkey and almost accidentally discovered Mardin and are so glad that we did! Mardin is a picturesque mountain town near the border of Syria, in the south easter part of Turkey. Between the incredible architecture, the amazing food... and of course the trash donkeys, we really need to consider visiting :)

Hi! We are Heather, Bradey, Alexa and Chloe.
We are raising our kids to face their fears, to step outside of their comfort zones and to try new things. Family travel is the best way we know how to do this.
We want to inspire others to travel with an open mind and to see that it is completely possible to travel and fly with kids! Traveling is one of the best things we have ever done to strengthen our family, and to open up our minds about how big this world is.
Thanks for following along!

As a Kurd from Mardin I welcome you to my home town. What makes Mardin also so special, is the history. The city is estimated to be at least 5000 years old.
Hi , I have a question about Mardin, How many do Sobbi or Mandaee live overthere? 🤔 I'm kurdish and my husband is mandaian, we are both from Iran and I just found Mardin have kurdish and Sobbi either
Biji Haval, biji Kurdistan
I'm Kurd too from Bashuri Kurdistan, living in London, UK, much thank for this beautiful family for making this beautiful video about Mardin, I only been there for one night, but the next time I will give myself more time to explore more of Mardin ❤🤲👍
Ne kadar güler yüzlü ve sıcak kanlı bir ailesiniz. Hep böyle kalın.
You're the friendliest, sweetest and most smiling family I have ever seen on youtube. I hope you will be satisfied with our country and you will leave with many good memories.

Is Mardin a clean city or not...?
@@Mr-vy2lb Yukarı (that means "upper") Mardin and Midyat districts of Mardin are more touristic. And of course, the municipality keeps such valuable places clean in terms of tourism.

Thanks for this video, we are planning to visit Mardin this summer. And yes, I agree, Turkey has this magical athmosphere ( when not in tourist beach destinations), we love Turkey, its my daughter favourite place.
What a great time for you all! Looks like such a fantastic place.

I visited 25 cities in Turkey and my favorite is definitely Mardin. When I saw Mardini, I had similar feelings as yours. happy travels
😊😊👍👍
Loved the girls flowing red dresses. Just so cute, like flamenco dancers. Lovely to witness how sweet the Turkish people are towards your family. Seeing the world and earning respect from all the different people in other countri8es is the best education the girls could ever have. So many people are biased about different nationalities as they have pre-concieved attitudes towards other nationalities. We all share the same needs to be accepted. Rosie Hoy New Zealand
The Turkish food and the landscape is amazing !
ömrünüz uzun, sağlıklı ve neşeli gecsin çicekler....
It's great that this channel is finally growing more than its supposed to be before. The vids quality and contents are getting more interesting too. Good luck fam and be safe. You deserve the best! ❤️❤️❤️
Mardin is a timeless city. You feel like you've traveled to another time. The very special gold and silver processing and Syriac wines are also amazing.
As a Turkish, I've never been to the southeast part of Turkey. Thank you for showing us these beautiful places.

I am from Mardin. The most important feature of Mardin is that the three great religions coexist peacefully in one city for centuries. I hope you were able to experience this on your trip. If you haven't experienced it, you haven't visited Mardin, go back and tour again. :)
Welcome to Kurdish city

Those dresses are so beautiful, they really suit Alexa and Chloe, SO CUTE!
Such an historically city. In the last years Mardin became more and more popular for the Turkish people like you mentioned.
And its definitely a must see ❤
Thank you for broadcasting my city in a beautiful way. As born and raised in Europe I only visit Mardin once in my life.
Mardin has a lot of history from the Babylonians , Greek, Jews, Romans and a lot of Christian’s still living there.
There are a lots of churches and mosques build around each other and the Christian’s and Muslims live in peace. ❤
I am originally from Mardin. I am so glad that you are not like the others who just come visit Istanbul and some cities near Ege and go back. There are 7 different regions in Turkey and each has its own distinc culture to offer. You are the cutest. We love you :)
I am from mardin ,i'm pleased that a western family discovered this great place ,and its beutey
Bir Mardinli olarak gururlandım
I'm glad about your impressions and thoughts about Mardin which is really a hidden gem from international tourism. And it has way too much to offer in terms of history, culture and tradition about the oldest geography where human civilisation started to found. you should spend more time your next visit.
WOW really BEAUTIFUL!!🤩So nice to see the enjoyment you share🙏
Love the energy of your family! You choose the coolest cities and make great videos 👏 Safe travels.
I never heard about this place before. Thanks for showing this beautiful place. I’ll definitely visit this place
İstanbul’a indiğinizden itibaren sizi izliyorum. Sizi sevdim...

I know this video has been posted some time ago but wanted to let you know how much of a pleasure it was to watch it. I've been planning to get to the south east of Turkiye for a couple of years (covid upset those plans). I did get to Turkey last October 22, but not this far. Mardin is on my list for this year's holiday in September. Thanks so much for lovely content.
As a Mardinian, I would like to thank you for telling us and our city with all its beauty and lens. You are always welcome to Mardin. Mardin is beautiful with you

Oh my gosh Thank you for making my dream come true. 💖🇮🇳💖
You visit beautiful places and cities in Turkey. I don't know why you did not add the Black Sea Region of Turkey to your trip but i think Black Sea Region is the most beautiful part of Turkey. Not just because it is the greenest part of Turkey, you will also experience another culture shock in there too. It is more like a mixed culture between Turkish culture and Caucasian cultures. If you went a bit of upwards, you would see how climate and people change.
Especially weather and vegetation. Just a little bit upwards, from the driest climate of Turkey to the wettest climate of Turkey.
Mega city with mega people
Tnx for sharing so amazing places

We definitely don't keep Mardin for ourselves. But somehow it remains as our secret🤷 Maybe because of the lack of publicity. I think you also have felt the unbelievable magic of the city. Thanks to this; without even realising, everyone who comes to Mardin fells in love with this beauty. And thank you for video...

As a Turkish, I got shocked when I first visited Mardin as well. I also visited the monastries out of the city as well. I felt the root of civilazitons deeply there. Hope, I will visit again.
