I don't understand why this tank ever was so bad. There are so many more tanks in WOT like this. I like that they fixed this but I feel like they owe all those people an apology. It was a reward tank. For 10 years it was unusable. They even buffed things like the IS-6 a long time ago, and then the 112, and this just sat there. Nice games and commentary Iyo!
I don't have a grudge against the IS-5 but I do have a lot of hatred on Chrysler K and Obj 252U those tanks gives me PTSD that I'm willing to "nerf" them myself >l:(
Would you recommend this tank for IS-3 lover? I've got IS-3A, but the autoloader is nothing like the tech tree one. I tried 252U, but I don't really like it, the gunhandling is dogshit compared to IS-3.
1st battle IS3 was so angry, because of one shot to cupola he went in rage mode, then got pushed into water to drown, could not shoot underwater, didn't even drown but got shot while in water.... probably rage quit, poor soul, totally humiliated. The solution is not to go in rage mode, just chill!
I don't agree. Is 5 is faster with 42 km/h than the 252 u. The is 5's gun is more accurate, with best shells and a best gun depression. The turret is the same and only the frontal armor is better for the 252 u.
İyouxin try improved aiming instead of vert. stab. on your 2. setup and use it when u play sniper like u played erlenberg and I m sure it will perfom better in that way. Actauly it may even worth to play with improved aiming all the time since its moving dispersion values are amazing. With improved aiming u may snipe better.
I hate the T-10 and i also hate the is-5, i kinda like obj 268 5 since its actually decent armor for a td, can bounce t8 and some t9s which is decent enough.

However with all respect I think you're playing a tricky game to promote IS5 so people can play this "Still horrible" tank so you can outplay them easily :) I see what youre doing, you're perplexing the meta to make your job easier :) Honestly I dont even try to run or give a proper angle when I face IS-5. The bloom on this tank shows the only area that the gun won't hit lol :) Much love from Turkey
This is not true. As a content creator I want to make videos about tanks that people want to see. Buffed tanks, new tanks etc. I would never fall so low to trick my community into playing "bad" tanks so I can farm them Sorry if I made this impression. This was never my goal

@@nephalos666 sorry but the is 5 is faster 42km/h vs 35 km/h. The is 5 has better shells with apcr 1400m/s and a heat with 270mm. The armor of the turret seems the same. The only good thing for the 252 u is its frontal armor which is incredible.
every time a tank is pure garbage, the advice is to play some other role than the tank is supposed to play. if you pick a heavy tank, the algorithm will take you in consideration when distributing tank roles for each team and in the matchmaking for example 4 vs 4 HT, you will hav 3v4 if you pick is5 and play it as support. your team will start with a handicap from the start. if you want to play support , you get a damn medium tank or a TD. why troll your team into thinking they have equal HT's and find out you actually sit at medium range more. is"trashcan"5 is still trashcan and now even worse, cause people will actually try to play it as support thus giving their team a front side handicap. tragic.
"play IS 5 as a support heavy, let your heavy armoured tanks take a shot" whilst rushing to be the most forward tank in the team :D

I think the amazing Dispersion while turret rotation is what makes this gun way more usable now

I mean, it's a T-10 on tier 8 so it falls in the "fat-medium" category.
the velocity on its standard shells are actually unreal. one of the highest for all heavies

I think defender can work. But gun is unreliable. Ask your team if they need lorr 40t. It's fast, had a clip and great pen

I liked is-5 even before buff, now i think is too good to gave as much fun, as before.

Same story with 50b Vs maus/ is4. And even is you don't play hulldown with 50b you are still useful
