New animated lore documentary series of the Wizards and Warriors channel will focus on the universe of Cosmere as we try to explain what it is and show why Brandon Sanderson's universe is so popular with tales of Mistborn, Stormlight, Elantris, Warbreaker and others which we are planning to tell very soon. Would you please clarify in your ads that this is not a legitimate claim to land and title? It is quite (intentionally) misleading but I don't fault you for taking sponsorship money. However it is relative to your integrity and as a docu-tuber I should think that's important
Unfortunately they are probably under contract and can't do anything about it without opening themselves to litigation. I hope that when the contract runs out you'll be able to call them out.

So we're just going to ignore the part where he comes to as a ghost, punches a god in the face, refuses to pass on to the afterlife, finds and steals a device in the cognitive realm, uses that device to ascend to godhood for about a week after the god dies, then later on gets in touch with the new god and gets his soul nailed back into a body, and is alive and running an interplanetary criminal organization three centuries later?

Brandon Sanderson has become one of my favorite authors and an inspiration to write my own fantasy books.
According to Sanderson, he is currently neogotiating with streaming services to adapt his works so look forward to that.

@@thesaintzor625 Their advertising is misleading, although most people understand its a novelty certificate, others mistakenly think they actually own a plot of land recognized by Scotland. Secondly, their is no proof what amount, if any is donated to reforestation.
@@cj-hw3pv I always assumed that the land was just nominal and not actual possession but the amount donated to reforestation and tress planted should be made transparent. Thanks.
Way to go for Marsh to single handily take out the Inquisitors after taking the spikes through the eyes and learning the Inquisitors’ weakness.
There are a lot of lore channels out there, too many really, my expectation for this channel was that it would be a lot more like Kings and Generals and be more about fantasy and sci fi battles, I think it would do well to be.

I wish you'd make it clearer that starting the rebellion by dying was also Kelsier's plan. In the video it sounded like Kelsier simply failed to kill the Lord Ruler, then Oreseur took his bones and then Skaa thought him to be a god, so they started fighting. In reality, Kelsier worked this whole time to build his image around Skaa, making them belive in him, The Survivor, visiting families and spreading hope. He was inspired by the stories Sazed told him about ancient religions, and how it affected people. The crew didn't like the reputation he was creating for himself, but it was essential for this plan. He specificly ordered Oreseur to take his bones and to make an apperence to the Skaa after they see him die, motivating them to fight. He had even prepared multiple warehouses filled with weapons for this night. I think it was the most important twist in this story, at least for me.

They say on their website it’s a novelty, when you purchase you buy one square foot of land which helps to plant trees in Scotland. They’ve already planted 2 million trees. Novelty gift with a good cause and I don’t see the harm. Hard to get scammed if you read the website

So far Brandon Sanderson's worlds sound amazing I heard about him a few years ago but never delved into his works but these videos are highly fascinating to me I might take the plunge
I was like you. Looking at his worlds through UA-cam videos for long time untill I finally dipped my toes and picked up the The Final Empire, now a year later, I am at a place where my curses are also from the worlds of Sanderson. So yeah, take the plunge.

Now is a great time to do it. He has been hinting that there is gonna be a major announcement about some adaptations soon so if you started reading soon, you'd have at least a year or two before all the movies came out and you could tell your friends that you knew about.ot before it was cool, lol. It's also a great time to jump in because he just finished the second series of Mistborn books, so now you have even more cool stuff too read, if you feel like it.
I, myself, took the plunge a couple months back and have been so excited and happy cuz of it. Mistborn is still my favorite but so much of his stuff is wonderful and fascinating and the online community is both wonderful and welcoming. If you wanna go talk to somebody about the books people always love hearing first timers opinions about them on Reddit and they have really good spoiler blockers setup, so you can actually hang out and participate without getting totally spoiled..... For the most part, lol. It's a great time!

I began to entertain this idea myself lately. It`s really suspicious how they spread like wildfire in the "history buff YT".

I already know so many of these terms but now everything has changed! I am nearly frothing at the mouth with excitement and figuratively peering into every crack and around every corner looking for those sweet, delicious little Secrets. : )

The Mistborn trilogy was my first experience with Brian Sanderson's novels, and remains my favorite. The pacing is excellent. The relatively small cast characters are complex and well written. There are some major twists throughout the plot that I definitely didn't see coming. And the overall length of the trilogy manageable; It never outstays its welcome.
The Stormlight Archives is of course fantastic, but the length of the series and the huge cast of characters causes the plot to drag at times, especially throughout book 3.

So… is there an explanation in the books as to why Vin was wearing an earring that dampened her powers? Because the video made it seem like a big twist literally out of nowhere
@@jordinagel1184 Becase she didn't know it. Her mother gave her this earring, it was the only thing he had left after her. But Vin didn't know that the earring was a hemalurgic spike - her (crazy) mother made it by killing Vin's little sister, who could burn Bronze. Therefore the earring ENHANCED Vin's powers, particullary the Bronze, giving her the ability to pierce Copper clouds. Still, Vin didn't know that this ability was caused by the earring. She was wearing it because Kelsier told her it could be useful - metal piercing the body can't be affected by other allomancers (mostly... but they didn't know it yet), so it was safe, and she could use it as an "emergency" piece of metal for jumping or fighting. She didn't know that she could draw power from the mists (because she was choosen by Preservation) if she didn't wear this hemalurgic spike. Also this spike let the Ruin affect her, and the Ruin could make hemalurgic spikes feel natural and comfortable to wear. It made other character literally keep a massive sword shard in his chest, and he almost forgot it was there.

Thank you so much for these. I just started reading era two and it has been about a decade since I read the first mistborn. I’d forgotten a surprising amount and was getting kinda confused with who all the references in the mythos were. Like I forgot the difference between the Koloss the kandra the Terris etc. And you and your team have done an incredible job with the pacing and art direction. Keep it up!

The important thing to know is everything is crab. (Seriously. Much of Roshar is an impossibly huge crab. I have evidence, you heard it here first.)
Um, actual evidence though:
1) the entire Purelake disappears into holes at each highstorm like a living thing, and then comes back after. Highstorms might be the world crab's breathing? Idk.
2) Roshar has a high oxygen atmosphere (which is why fire is dangerous and spheres are used for light). This is perfect for megafauna, and when Earth had higher oxygen levels, we did in fact get giant insects and arthropods.
3) So far, every character has gone out of their way to not say anything about Rall Elorim, which means it's getting saved for a reveal (Lift even gets asked point-blank what it's like once, and gives an "Uh-huh" in response with no details). We do know that it's a big cave with giant stalactites and stalagmites that have buildings. I think it's a mouth.

Sorry it resembled swastica for you, I figured after reading your comment, that was not my aim, I am totally anti fascist by any means. I will alter the design for future use incase people like you don't get wrong implications. The aim was to make the blade intertwine in a deadlock like wars happen to be. And the design of the blades are because of aestetical reasons. If this channel was into Nazi propaganda you would have recognised much easier don't worry, using an icon among a hundred other icons which designed just for a single video is somewhat bad use of resources as you might get. Especially when the whole content of the video is uprising against dictatorship and fascism, a form of fascism where the dictator physically altered the anatomy of his people to be weak and the elite into tall, powerful beings like a true ubermensch. In that sense the series has an anti fascist tone not the contrary.

I appreciate your videos, but there are so many mistakes in them that it makes me think you haven't read the books. Either that or you only half read them, periodically zoning out whilst reading. Also, pronunciations are often wrong. Sorry for being a stickler, I actually like the style of your videos and narration, just make sure the lore is accurate.

Hey making a correction here. Vin’s mom and sister were never excecuted. The obligatory lost her mom and then the mom went insane and killed Vin’s sister coincidentally spiking her with an enhanced sense of burning bronze. The lord ruler had no part in killing the sister and it isn’t said how the mom died

Hmm... this is very detailed, and I love the artwork & presentation. Also, props to the narrator. The voice is measured, but not monotonous, & is pleasant to listen to.

I personally didn't think so. The idea that it was Ruin using her brother's voice is abundantly present, as is the fact that she can somewhar pierce copperclouds while wearing it & flaring brass.
I love Wizards & Warriors videos but man, this books sounds stupid. I haven't read any Sanderson works so maybe they're better than they sounds but they seem like weak sauce YA books.
