Came here from the Nightcore version. I'm so glad I clicked on that video, I think I broke the repeat button the last few days. The thing is I almost didn't click on it because I've heard the Lindsey Sterling ft Lizzy Hale version so many times, so I almost dismissed it as: Just another Nightcore version, and if I had done that I wouldn't have came here.

thanks for being so close to the orginal with vocal. seriouusly. i mean the anger in the orginal one sounds so good, and you made it sound te same. with added electric guitar its even better. Although the violin in the orginal one has "the thing"

But this time, i have the feeling that a diffrent arrangment could fit a little bit better. I like Metal no question about it, but i guess "Shatter me " would fit a bit better in a Symphonic Metal arrangment better.
JOhannes Bauer hey thanks for the compliments and feedback! Funny that you say that. I am actually exceptionally happy with this arrangement, as there are quite a lot of symphonic elements in there like strings, piano, pizzicatos, brass and some other stuff. It's a tad in the background to prevent muddiness, but it's there! Right now I don't see what I couldve done differently but I'm always open to suggestions :)
Thx, for answering my friend. But most important, is that you like it, it's your arrangement.
But let me try to explain it a bit what i mean,, as good as i can explain it as a non musician.
There are 2 way's just lifting the the strings and brass in the volume or use the symphonic style as an element himself in the song. A bit like Kamelot who use it a like a transition between chorus and the other parts and then put it back in the background.
Pretty badass track and an even more badass cover but in my opinion there could have been a bit more brutality in the voicings and the melodic and rhythmic part it sounds like there is something missing to be perfect but still really good cover sounds greate ^^
