@@kateisabellarose5403 I agree. In subsequent episodes, it becomes known that Halil never was in a relationship with Berna and never thought of her as a girlfriend. He helped her during her illness and only thought of her as a sister (it remained undisclosed but some fans thought it might have been an eating disorder).
Supposedly Berna thought of him as a "brother" but my thoughts are that at some point Berna thought of him as more than that. I thought she used business as an excuse to go to the farm and try to have a relationship with Halil that would lead to marriage. I think Berna is smart but also shrewd and not only in business. Berna had ways of addressing and looking at Halil that were not "sisterly" at all and left the door open for interpretation as to the meaning of her actions. Shrewd Berna realized that Halil deeply loved Zeynep and understood that she wouldn't stand a chance of winning his heart, at least not NOW. In the end, she helped Halil and Zeynep to be together but I think because the writers never let us in on her inner thoughts it was left open for her to possibly return at a later time, perhaps if HalZey is having problems and if she returns she might take advantage of that situation if she realizes that Halil is the best man she has ever met and that she loves him and not in a "brotherly way".

I think Eren n Selma live story developed in a better way than the main actors.
Some beautiful moments between Zeynep and Halil of their trip to the lake continued in today’s episode. It seems like Halil genuinely wants to make it up to Zeynep for all the misery he has put her through in the past. Apparently Songul does not want him to stop and spits out her venom at Zeynep on every opportunity she gets. Tulay Hanem insists on bringing back Selma and Feyyaz together without even thinking for a moment that Feyyaz let down her daughter in the first place by choosing wealth and false status over love and given his personality traits could definitely do it again! Hakan does everything he possibly can for Feriya because he is so in love with her….will he be able to realize his love for her remains to be seen! The false Zeynep and her mother have been found by Eren and Halil but will they be able to find out that Canan and Asu are the true culprits! Songul is a woman full of poison…..I guess we may have to watch another 100 episodes before she is exposed for her crimes of theft, attempted murder, arson, and bribery. Some more complications in the storyline with the arrival of Berna……although she made the first move should Halil have continued to hugging Berna standing close to Zeynep?…………???
