  • They are known to be invasive. Florida turtles, often released by their owners into the wild, are disrupting the environment for species in the region.
    The reason ? The Conservatory of Natural Spaces of Savoy wishes to fully reintroduce the Cistude, the local turtle. This approach is also accompanied by awareness raising on the preservation of the natural surroundings of Lac du Bourget. Lucas Ruch explains a little more about this process.
