I love this type of thing because sometimes it’s hard to stay in the loop with every single event when new stuff is constantly being made and tested, awesome presentation!
Super interesting, thanks for posting!
amazing seminar, blindfold has a lot to learn, but that makes it amazing
Very cool you got to do a seminar at NAC! I wish I could have been there.
Listened to this on the livestream. It was very interesting. 😃
23:28 Elliott laying down the law.
24:27 Noah explains how learning 3-Style helped with memo.
For me, learning 3-Style also helped my memo, because practise was a lot more interesting and I ended up doing *many* more sighted solves and also improved my tracing in the process. 3-Style sighted solves are simply a lot more fun to do than M2/OP or OP/OP. I currently only average around 2:30-3:00 with 50% or higher success rates depending on my level of practise (usually about sub-1 exec), so being fast at M2/OP isn't a prerequisite to learn 3-Style so long as one is interested enough in the technique to trust that longer term gains will happen in due course.
wow good job 😀
Do you have a LTCT list? I am learning those starting on the U layer, but don't have any for those on D layer
Nice yo!
Snapshot memo and visual memo is the same.
Smart cycle breaking and cycle break order is the same.
Nah.
Snapshot memo = just taking a glance at the cube (without tracing the pieces), putting the blindfold on pretty much instantly, and using process of elimination to figure out what your exec might need to be based on what you remember. We put it at the very bottom of the list because it's very unreasonable right now and if people ever effectively utilize it, it'll likely be far in the future. Visual memo, however, generally involves tracing the pieces and forming an image of them in your mind based on the order by which they come up in your memo.
Smart cycle breaking refers to making a good cycle break decision at any point in a solve (which can be based on a variety of factors, so intuition might serve one best), while cycle break order refers more to a more rigid approach where you prioritize certain targets based on other things, such as choosing a certain second target of a pair when cycle breaking based on the first target in the pair. I value smart cycle breaking much more; the only reason we included cycle break order above it was that it's similar to buffer order (but I see a buffer order as much more necessary than a cycle break order in almost all cases).
Hopefully this clears stuff up.
Will “5 style” ever be used in future solves, say 5-10 or so years from now? Not full 5 style, but a decent portion of it, so you can get a 5 style case say every 10 solves or so. Is that realistic? And if so, where can one learn 5 style?
I don't think it's that realistic since there are way too many cases, but one can attempt to learn 5-style from docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/158F-jyu8ld8kbdD4I_Lqy4fsX5vvp_MQOq7Ofg8NdSI/edit#gid=1229717195
@@TommyCherry ah, thanks so much, and indeed it is way too many cases, I’m planning on (in a years time) learning all of the cases that start with AN (UBL) (RUB). Is there also 4 style for corners? If so, can you link a resource to learn from that has all the algs? If not that’s alright, you’ve already helped enough with the 5 style sheet!
@@DillPicklePatrick 4-style doesn't exist on its own because of parity, but something like 4-style + an edge 2-swap is possible. I don't think anyone's spent much time generating algs like these though.
What about a 4 way setup 5style eka method
Where You setup a piece nearest to UR or FR or FL or UL
It has an Avg. move count of 12.4stm but has 21600 algs which has 105k less algs than regular 5style
@@DillPicklePatrick i think you need to learn about 12672 algs
Do you have a sheet of T2C LTEF?
Check BLDDB.
Could we get access to the PPT?
scan the qr code
sorry i dont understand anything can you explain it more in depth please

Buy the Masterclass from Jack Cai and you will understand everything.
can you give me some good 3 style algs sheet ?
