@@tyronelewis2430 apparently they have questioned the taxi driver and he said “I wouldn’t call it a car chase” and NYPD state that they “doubt that a 2 hour high speed car chase took place”. It will be interesting to see what else comes out over the next couple of days. Let’s hope the NYPD do a full investigation (including CCTV camera footage) and then release it publicly 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I was born in Manhattan. I grew up in Manhattan and on Long Island. I lived in Manhattan for almost 40 years. There's no F&*@%ing way you can have a car chase in Midtown for 10 minutes, let alone 2 hours. There are police and police cars everywhere. There's always so much traffic around Times Square, it can take you 30 minutes to go 8 blocks in a cab. It's faster walking to get out of the area. New York cabbies are some of the most aggressive drivers in the world. None of them are going to let you cut them off in a car chase. There's too many pedestrians in Times Square. You'd be knocking them over like wack-a-mole. And trust me, as a New Yorker, you'd piss off all of them (there's like at least 20,000 people in Times Square at any given moment that time of night), and they'd all be dialing 911 to get your ass arrested in a New York minute! These liars are basing their story of Manhattan car chases on too many unrealistic Hollywood movies. All New Yorkers are laughing at these fools.

In mid-town Manhattan, you get around faster walking instead of driving because the streets are just choked with cars, buses, bikes and people walking in between traffic, that area is always full of pedestrians and tourists. And often there are streets blocked off from traffic to make it even more difficult to get around. Maybe the only way a car chase could happen is if it’s during the overnight hours like 2 AM to 4:00 in the morning when the streets are relatively quiet. I don’t understand why Harry and Meghan would be hailing a taxi cab at one point according to the spokesperson’s story. These people are wealthy enough to hire their own comfortable limousine with chauffeur and professional security guards. A 2 hour paparazzi “near catastrophic” car chase in the middle of Manhattan last night sounds like a load of BS. That is not possible at the time they departed the award show last night. Whoever the spokesperson was that came up with that story has to be crazy, unless it was from Harry and Meghan themselves.

Piers Morgan interviewed the cab driver who said he drove them around the block back to their SUV. 15 minutes in total. He said he thinks it was 6 paps there and he never felt unsafe. Sounds like a staged event to me.

A Londoner here. I last visited New York in 1984 and loved it. But even back then it was quicker to walk than drive. I know it's changed a lot since then but it's on my bucket list for another visit. I'm guessing if I called the local press and told them I was Harry Wales's missus, I doubt they'd bother to send the work experience kid, never mind a posse of photographers to follow me. 🤣

I’m kind of pro Harry, but as an American hearing this, I was immediately shocked because it makes absolutely no sense. I mean, I think that’s pretty clear, regardless of where you’re from. There is no car chase that lasts two hours under the conditions, they stated that doesn’t get noticed or stopped. Especially in NYC. It’s a really sick thing to lie about too.
