Ponies can carry more weight than some might think, but of course there is a limit for every horse or pony. Well done for addressing it in such a balanced way. I shrieked with joy when I saw the video and grinned all the way through. 😄
I am sad that you had to explain all that Meg, but I understand and praise you for being so transparent for the viewers who may not understand you put your horses first, always! Fun video to watch, thanks for sharing, Bear is so cute ❤

I think it was a really good idea to address the weight debate as away of preempting the possibility of negative comments and reassuring your followers that it is an important part of horse ownership.
Han and Hobbit are the best sidekicks for horsey adventures. Bear looks amazing and sassy

So great to see Bear back and wow! You rode her shenanigans so well, even one handed at times! Thank you for addressing human and horse weight in such a positive manner. People forget that horses do have varying capacities depending on their size, health and fitness. You did a great job explaining it all- really helpful to people who may not know, reassuring to anyone who wondered and forestalling the negative comments.

Awww so great to see you and Bear back together. I used to ride a 13.2 hh pony, and he was a super boy. Im a big ol' adult so no fear your doing the wrong thing. You know your ponies better than anyone and besides if Bear didn't want you to rofe her she'd soon tell you.
I love your channel for the wholesome sense of fun and joy you impart to us all - I get a lot of enjoyment from watching your vlogs and it reminds me to enjoy my journey with the young horse I now have. Self loathing and self criticism is a curse which I admit I can give into far too easily. Thanks for your fresh take on all things horsey - It is much appreciated xx

Hello Megan first of all WELCOME HOME BEAR!!! Megan please don't listen to negative comment thru are not worth listening to. Ir was so lovely seeing you back on bear again you look great on her and her sazzy behaviour is so funny it was so lovely seeing you laugh at her sazzy behaviour. I used to ride before I became wheelchair bound and I loved riding a sazzy pony so this brought back memories for me. I can't wait to see bear come back into work with you and to see her progress and to eventually start jumping again. I bag that Hannah just hack her out for the first time 🤣 ir would be hilarious to see. In all seriousness Megan please don't listen to negative people your a great rider and you shouldn't have to post what you posted about weight you looked amazing on Bear.
