When you believe in God, he can do whatever he wants. He can break the law of science because he himself is the creator of science. Thats why Jesus PBUH was able to raise up dead, spoke as a baby, healed many people miraculusly, Moses PBUH was able to part away the sea, Prophet muhammad PBUH was able to splitnthe moon for a short time etc. All of them was possible with the help and permission of Allah.
This is a very simple common sense answer. God can make a flying carpet. Its a piece of cake for him.
