Callyann's laughter is infectious; she had me in tears! And Lolsy's rendition of "Loch Lomond" gave me life. Oh, and in case the question ever comes up again: Alan Cumming, Tilda Swinton, James McAvoy, Ewan McGregor, Sean Connery, David Tennant, Peter Capaldi, Robert Carlyle, Billy Connolly, Craig Ferguson, Kelly Macdonald, John Hannah, Lindsay Duncan, and Bill Paterson, to name a few.
My son bought me a piece of Scotland too! I am also Her Ladyship! This was the best video in ages!!!! Great combos and everyone had fun. 20 thumbs up gang!
Again, what a wonderful, funny group of humans! Éadaoin's sweater, I hope, encourages countless others to take up knitting and crocheting. Also, I was already in a good mood, saw that the delightful Callyann was in the video, and decided that I could be so urged to have a better mood!
As someone from the US, I first thought that perhaps they were drunk when they started playing Flip Cup because we start with it upright. Then I saw the next few. Cheers to learn things are always different yet the same.
@@AmorphisBob Hate to tell ya, but you're the wrong one. Literally just google or youtube "flip cup." Everything will show you that you start with the cup upright and flip it down.
I live in Western Kentucky and have talked to two of the distilleries in the area. Casey Jones Distillery and Bardstown Bourbon. I had to convince Casey Jones that I gain nothing from this, that this is a fun channel and a way to reach people. I finally told him that the only connection I have to the Try Channel is I have Irish blood in me. I will continue looking for companies that might be interested. Loving the channel, and hopefully, they can come through. Good luck.
How in the hell did no one start singing Proclaimers?!?! It's literally instantaneous for me when I think of quintessential Scottish songs. That and the Ramones because of So I Married An Axe Murderer.
THANK YOU! Came here to say I can't believe no TRYers would walk 500 miles. Shocking. SO disappointed. But I'll listen to Lolsy sing all fackin' day though.
First song that came to my mind about Scotland or by Scottish people was "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by The Proclaimers, but also I'm terrible at remembering lyrics :D
When it comes to the songs I am surprised no one ever sang "Well I would walk 500 miles, And I would walk 500 more, Just to be the man, Who'd walk a thousand miles, Just to fall down, At your door."
Anyone else, when prompted to sing a Scottish song, start belting out "S-A-TUR-DAY NIGHT!" at the top of their lungs, all because of the movie "So I Married an Axe Murderer"?
This was fantastic! Just loved this episode! Bravo Lolsy for the singing! But everyone was legendary this time! I so hope there’s a drunk skills video coming up!
I have been to Scotland and Ireland and in both of these beautiful countries I have never met a more warm, generous, and welcoming people then in both countries.
I dare anyone to not absolutely love Callyann and her ball of sunshine energy omg + her pairing with Laura? Brilliantly hilarious 🤣 Also Éadaoin's 'freedom' bits had me in stitches and I don't know why 🤣
Not just the Proclaimers in Scotland! Big Country, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Simple Minds, KT Tunstall, Cocteau Twins, Wet Wet Wet, Chvrches, Calvin Harris and the epitome of 70s pop, The Bay City Rollers! So many names throughout the years. The Scots have a great energy to their music. 🏴🦄
Right? Turns out I can picture or tell you the character a Scottish person played but... The actor? Took me ages to remember Gerald Butler. Fitz from agents of shield? No idea of the actor name but I know he's Scottish (please don't be wrong)
I got full-body gooseflesh when Lolsy sang, "Loch Lomond!" Thanks for that!
Not gonna lie, I shed a tear
@@outsidealone same man omg 🥺
same! Genetic memory got me all emotional.
@@outsidealone Me, too!
The word gooseflesh used in this context gives me chills.
I loved Lolsy's singing!
Callyann's energy could probably light up a good small city for atleast a year!
She is her own renewable energy source!
She's like a human version of the Energiser Bunny from those old Duracell battery adverts.
and paired with Laura, she's in great light up a small city company
@@Brakkart Aren't Energizer and Duracell competitors?
@@Brakkart if this was meant to be a joke it's funny. If you actually messed that up it's hilarious.
I love Lolsy! She’s hilarious!
Lolsy (@ 12:07) steals the show with her 🎶 wee ditty 🎵 - Loch Lomond
Only took 20 minutes to realise the theme. No biggie.
Better late than never I say! You guys trying to figure out one Scottish actor was the funniest part of this video to me, Callyann! 👏🏼😂
That is the best part of the show I thought ❤
Callyann is the best. And we all missed you, Lolsy.
Laura and Callyann are a dynamite combination! More please 😀
That was one of the best ones in a while. Thank you TRYers!

Curse me, how could I have forgotten the Big Yin!?
Not ro mention Billy Boyd!
And how could you leave out Gerard Butler - This is Sparta!!!!!
@@stephenschroeder6567 Oh trust me, he's the 1st one I think of! But didn't Colin say they couldn't use that name?
Karen Gillan
Fun fact: "Loch Lomond" is perhaps the most romantic song about a hanging there is. Lolsy got it pitch perfect, BTW.
Callyanne and Laura were just pure joy...two diamonds 💎 💎
Pro tip: Flip cup is played starting with the cup right side up and flipping it upside down.
Love you guys! And love little ginger girl ♥️.
Lolsy is a national treasure.
In every nation.
Lolsy singing Loch Lomand warmed my old Scottish heart. This is one of my favs guys! Thanks for honoring (and taking the piss of) Scotland!
My son bought me a piece of Scotland too! I am also Her Ladyship! This was the best video in ages!!!! Great combos and everyone had fun. 20 thumbs up gang!
Me too, gotta frame the title.
Me too. Got a square foot of Scottish land and a title that says I'm a Lady.
Callyann and Laura need to do a buddy road trip flick, they are fabulous together. 🙌

same. i feel the way they play makes it much harder compared to the US way.
I don't know who taught you to play flipcup but you're just playing it wrong. We start with the cup down in the states too.
I live in the US and always started with the cup down, but we had to do a full 360 not a 180 like they doing lol
Couldn't think of anything else when those segments were up, haha

It was worth watching the entire video just to see Lolsy doing her thing at the end. I haven’t laughed that hard in a good while.
Lolsy’s outro slayed!
Julia and Callyann are magic together. They're both quite good separately, but together they reached a whole new level.
How in the hell did no one start singing Proclaimers?!?! It's literally instantaneous for me when I think of quintessential Scottish songs. That and the Ramones because of So I Married An Axe Murderer.

I was hoping for the Rezillos
The first one I thought of was Big Country!
I'm amazed no one called up Simple Minds
First song that came to my mind about Scotland or by Scottish people was "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by The Proclaimers, but also I'm terrible at remembering lyrics :D
LA DA DAT DAH (la da dat dah), LA DA DAT DAH (la da dat dah), da dat didi datdah dat da dat duh dah...
And I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 just to be the man who walked a thousand miles than fall down at your door
How did they not say "You're pointing!" when she pointed her finger like a unicorn horn??? Lolsy kills me!!!! Love her.

"Well I would walk 500 miles,

I was expecting Auld Lang Syne... and then I remembered that nobody actually knows the words.

Lolsy and Eadaoin are absolute treasures.
I absolutely adore Lolsy she's my favorite TRYer and I would love to see her in more episodes.
The pairings were excellent! What a great episode.

Callyann is delightful.
Lolsy is always amazing!!! Awesome episode !
Love how they had trouble thinking of a Scottish actor, like, say, Peter Capaldi, but then later sing a Lewis Capaldi song.
My first thought just now: "why are all the questions about Scotland?"
**thinks about it for a min...** "ah...I, am an idiot..."😂🤦🏾
don't fret Nadia. On Patreon they didn't bother saying it was the Johnny Walker edition. 😀 (BTW...it's DonP here)
This might be one of my all- time favorite moments on the Try channel. What a scream!!! 8:15
The Middle-finger Lolsycorn was awesome.
Rod Stewart songs would have qualified, right?
I thought I was the only one who noticed 😂👏
This episode was HILARIOUS!
Lolsy for the win at the end. Well Done.
Glad they do this, I gave up hard drinking 30 odd years ago, I wouldnt make it past the 1st one.
My brain was screaming: SEAN CONNERY!!!... even with the hint...response: Pierce Brosnan... slapped my forehead ... He's Irish! ROFLOL
Éadaoin is just brutal with the rules. Paddy never stood a chance.
This channel is my ray of light for 3 out of 7 days a week
One of them should have sung Auld Lang Syne. It's hard to get more Scottish than that.
Wellerman (Sea shanty) would've been nice to sing too
Oh Lolsy, you're such a hoot! 😀
Paddys Shrek was a bit aggressive 🤣🤣
Loved this. You need to bring back the Battleship make shots (disgusting?) for your opponent. Classic
Lolsy at the very end of the video🤣🤣🤣❤️
This was fantastic! Just loved this episode! Bravo Lolsy for the singing! But everyone was legendary this time!
I so hope there’s a drunk skills video coming up!
Ewan Mcgregor, Sheena Easton, Gerard Butler, Karen Gillan, and Billy McConelly!

That was fun to watch, specially towards the end; drink roulettes made good clips.
I'm a Scot who's been living in Canada since just before the pandemic and I was not expecting to cry a little when Loch Lomond was sang omg
LOVED THIS ! Drink episodes are always the best ! And the ladies are always the funniest too
As much as I love to see Dermot go apoplectic about anything peanuts; these drinking videos are my fave. ❤️
