I hope the weavers get their share of the success. In preparation of the luxury and finery goods the workers get left out when it comes to earnings.

@@rabbychowdhury4742 That included research cost. It was a very difficult and costly project. International treasure hunt for one proper archeological artifact/sample, then finding the proper plant throughout the entire firtile Bengal plain. Finding it, then doing it's genome sequencing, then securing IP/trademark. Then weaving for which specialist, almost retired weavers were employed...
Now whenever the proper climate condition can be determined it will go to the industrial production. Then you can hope for getting the entry level Muslin within 50K

I don’t see the practical purpose of this fabric in this time. Wearing such sheer fabric will get you arrested for indecent exposure in most countries. It will be a curiosity, no more than that. Ancient Egyptians could weave linen this fine. Why not ask them if they can still pass the knowledge on?

It is very time consuming and very expensive to make. So I imagine it is not worn for practical reasons. :) I am sure there are ways to layer it with a more opaque garment under it, to make it fit to modern needs.

It's not for everyone, it's exclusive, although you can wear such clothes with proper undergarments ie 'Petticoat' and 'blouse'. It won't get you arrested apart from some islamic countries.
