Cheaper that Gixxer 250 and Bajaj N250 Dual ABS (which admittedly has less power and one less gear than Gixxer) is priced at 151k .... 2k more than TVS Apache 200 Dual ABS and 17k cheaper than Ronin Dual ABS ) not to forget that TVS is also a VFM brand.

Yes that's true but if someone wants to spend money on a performance bike like this, they would want it to stand out and demand road presence. The NS tag has become very old now and diluted to 160 cc which is terrible for Bajaj. Bajaj should have done something to make this bike stand out.
Very average review by autocar they didn't even mention about the adjustable levers, hazard lights, nothing about ergonomics, no proper review of the speedometer and the functions it offers like MID, lap timer etc.

I am considering buying this bike due to reduced weight of almost 10 KG compared to the Dominar(2016 Version), which over the years has started to put stress on my knee joints. I wish they have a stickerless model though. This one is gaudy. But again, looking at the overall package, this bike looks like a no brainer purchase. Less weight = more speed , better maneouverability, better braking (or less demanding brake components), easy to live with compared to the Dominar. For the newer generation who just turned 21 or more, you have no idea what 1.85L means for this motorcycle. The Dominar cost 1.83L on road 7 years back, so in today's times of inflation and rising component costs, this is an unbelievable bargain. On the manufacturing front, All the production and mechanical engineers out there will know, when it comes to lean manufacturing, Bajaj is unbeatable.
I have OG 2012 200NS. It came with 2 stickers on back panel which I removed. Look at Bajaj bikes from before 2014. They looked beautiful with almost no stickers.
I was considering to get a dominar until today, i've had a crush on dominar for years now, but now i am quite confused as to what would be a better buy, i understand its almost a lakh expensive than the NS but i really am mulling over this. help me out lol

NS400 is a solid option for anyone venturing into the 400 cc segment.. Bajaj always has given affordable performance to us! Only one thing though: This bike is several years late in the game because originally, they should have launched this instead of Dominar and should have avoided posing it as RE competitor (haathi mat paalo ads were fun but Dominar wasn't as sporty as it could have been in a Pulsar guise)

Sir reply please for this question. The weight distribution 174kgs not properly placed on the chassis. While riding this bike we can feel the weight concentration so much on the front side and handle bar also vibrates more. This hampers ride quality and handling.
Almost all the sports bike have a weight distribution which leans towards the front end more so that when you are entering a corner, trail braking loads the front suspension even better. as far as the vibrations are concerned, this bike doesnt vibrate much (i own one so i am saying with experience) so the ride quality is not hampered but its amazing.

That's the price, a true biker can actually afford without breaking wallet. Improvement in technology is supposed to be like this, price should be the same with the same technology. That is the true definition of advancement of invention and technology.
The one problem this motorcyle has is the subtle changes in design. They should have been drastic like the headlamp, go all out keep the silhouette but change the panels and lights drastically thats what this bike needs. Also couldve given wider tank covers to make it feel more bulkier with the same tank

When triumph 400s were released we knew bajaj can make bikes to cost. Now with ns400 bajaj has made a bike to cost so low.
Its beautiful, practical and afforadable..i like it, the Indian needs it...but i think those DRLs look too big, i would perfer the drls of apache

Of course. Go to any bike shop that sells seat cover and you order custom seat cover to them and tell them how much mm foam you want.

I would consider it buying if they had put 600cc in to that. I like to buy 500cc and above bike
