It really doesn't though. 99% of the people saying GT sucks have never watched it and just learned that everyone says that GT sucks, and since they don't want to have a differing opinion on the internet they just go with the flow. The first arc with getting the super dragonballs back is pretty bad, not gonna lie, but after that it gets much better. Plus it brought us SSJ4, the objectively coolest Super Saiyan form.
