  • You don't often see a 15-point NBA scorer in Europe. But Kendrick Nunn is one and he's dominating the EuroLeague right now. Panathinaikos guard just had a 5-game stretch, where he averaged 28.8 points per game with absolutely nobody stopping him. In this video, we analyze Nunn's path from being out of the NBA to being the main guy in Europe.

    Nunn is far better player now than he was in the NBA. He is on his prime right now.
    When he first came to Europe he didn’t use his brain on his game at all. He made alot of mistakes and bad calls. Now his brain run faster than ever. The athleticism is not enough to thrive in Euroleague

    I love the Euro league. Not only is it loaded with talent but the league has saved many careers.

    Nunn is a scoring machine... A leader with steel balls and winning spirit, but...probably not a team player.

    But always remember:
    Not all NBA players are the same.
    For example:
    Osman was a solid brnch player in the NBA.
    In Europe he is a solid starter.
    Antony Parker was a solid bench player in the NBA.
    In Europe he us in the GOAT conversation and a 2 time MVP.
    Clearly not all NBA players translate the same in European basketball.

      Different eras... back then Euroleague was lacking athleticism n NBA was lacking Fundamentals. Now both leagues has mix of both

      @@thanasistagaras3256OK, but even rn:
      Venzekov was arguably a worse NBA player than Yurtseven.
      In Europe it's not even close.

      Osman can easily be the best sf in Europe if given the opportunity. He just happens to play for the champions and his window of freedom is very limited.

      @@greatness7619 I agree with the fact that he would look much better if he wasn't on a team this stacked.
      But best SF in Eurolege is insane.
      Believe me if he was the second or third best player of his team, he would have showed it.

      @@philip5454 are you kidding me? Vezenkov was checking in for 7-8 minutes once every 2-3 games, how do you expect him to find his rhythm like that? Per 36 minutes his 5.5pts are 16.5 while shooting 37% from 3! Even comparing him to Yurtseven is hilarious

    The average NBA player is more physical than the average Euroleague player, not surprising
    So if they're intelligent enough to adapt to FIBA rules, they are killing it

    He won’t come back, he’s a 6 man at best, playing in the NBA has more expectations than playing EL, when talking basketball greats majority are from the NBA where expectations are higher

    Some skills translate better to the FIBA rules and some better to the NBA. I think He is where he should be sucking up this great Europe an BBall athosphere instead of beeing the 2nd player off the bench in front of a lousy NBA crowd.

    Where would you want to play yourself? In a country where you are seen as a replaceable spare part or in one where you are treated like a god?

    I really don't get why at the end of the video you mentioned "I would be very surprised if he does not comeback to the NBA next season". Is it a comment bait? I mean, is it so impossible for him to think "I am turning 30 years old this year. I have another 2, maybe 3 years of prime basketball. Why to waste them as a backup choice in an NBA team, instead of staying in a team that trusts me, I have the most important role in the team, fans really love me, and I can easily go in another 3-4-5 Euroleague F4s, and probably win a couple of them."

    • @gabepizza
      @gabepizza 18 днів тому

      are you really asking that question? Look at Vezenkov, Micic and even Mike James. Don't you understand that athletes have egos, especially the top tier ones (I mean just look at Jordan). You want to prove that you can compete in the top league on the world. The whole thing if you're a back-up choice on an NBA team you get the opportunity to prove your self and maybe get a nice NBA contract which would be 5x more than the top Euroleague contract.

    • @konstantinos.plexidas
      @konstantinos.plexidas 18 днів тому

      @gabepizza I really understand your point. However, this doesn't mean that someone can't prefer to have an important role in a small team rather than an unimportant role in a big team. It's just a matter of personal taste. It's impossible and unhealthy for everyone to think the same way.

    1)tell us now for his last 2 games, how did he perform in spain recently?
    2)u didnt mention a player who was not EX nbaer, some1 who had 15 mil per year and decided to move to europe so he can play where he wants the game he love, talking about the French Lover Evan Fournier who COOKS in crucial moments
