- Tagaytay City in the Philippines is home to some of the most stunning views of Taal Volcano. This Dormant Volcano is the backdrop to numerous resorts, venues and even FAST FOOD chains like Starbucks and Mc Donalds. Believe it or not, some of the worlds nicest Starbucks and McDonalds are in Tagaytay!
We also try a couple FAMILY STYLE FILIPINO FOOD restaurants in the area. Max's Restaurant is a popular filipino food chain that reaches all the way to Los Angeles. Max's is known for their Fried Chicken and it's so popular that they even have a location in the SLEX highway! We also head to Sta Rosa and try Kanin Club!

Maybe first! This iPad won’t show me other comments. We hired a boat to take us to the island where we rode mules to climb up to the top. We enjoyed the view up there while sipping buko juice.
Almost first! haha the effort was there. Some day i'd love to actually reach the volcano. Did it cost alot to take a boat there?
Very affordable Jay because of the dollar exchange. Reaching the top of the island, you can honestly say that you've stood on a volcano within a volcano within a volcano. That whole lake was once part of a volcano.
I remember burning my mouth trying to down half a buko pie we just bought while eating it at the nicer Starbucks. That’s bc we weren’t sure if we could bring outside food & eat it there. Haha my extra hot latte didn’t help the burning either. Great view, lattes puede. Thanks for sharing bro. 👍
haha gotta be careful with them piping hot buko pies! They'll torch your tongue! I'm sure many filipinos eat outside food at starbucks cuz they DGAF. I heard Starbucks opened another location recently at a hotel that has an even more amazing view!

I've never stayed in Tagaytay with my family being close by in Laguna but there are a ton of great resorts that overlook the volcano. You shouldnt have any problem finding one.
