@@chrishackett554 so far so good with mine too! I had one of the vent plugs break, that’s the only issue. That also could have been my fault while transporting fuel though. Much easier than the vented spouts!
You should install the vent. If not, it will burp while pouring. The vent allows air in to displace the fuel that’s pouring out. Super easy to install though, and so far so good. My wife loves them compared to the spill free spouts.
