@@ender7278 It's hard to argue that, considering what they later did for both P2 games (remixes for pretty much every theme in the game _and_ you can swap to the original themes if you want) and the fact this game came out at a time when the PSP already had a few years under its belt. It was definitely possible for P1 too, there's reason to believe that what they did to the music in the remake was a deliberate choice. To be honest, imo Lone Prayer kinda matches the context of the awakening cutscenes, and this is coming from someone who likes the original battle theme more. It's just a shame that this had to be cut for it...

Love or hate revelations persona, you gotta admit some of the lines were pretty funny for a E rated game. I remember scaring away this one demon and his words were “farewell, retarded one!” Also nate almost calls guido a motherfucker so I didn’t expect that

The Persona awakenings are important story events. A song you're going to hear a lot throughout the rest of the game being tossed into it feels lazy in comparison.
As someone who is just now playing Persona 1 for the first time (PSP version), I did sort of find it strange that there wasn't an awakening battle theme, yet I never really questioned it because I was more surprised by how the awakenings didn't feel all that special. Just "oh hey I got a persona". Then again, A Lone Prayer is amazing enough on its own!
