3D Printing and Soldering Among Us' Worst Tasks (The Skeld in real life)

- The challenge: 3D print, solder, and code the most rage-inducing tasks on The Skeld, making electronics projects that look and work exactly like in Among Us. Arduinos, Raspberry Pi's, 3D printing, and infantile humor ensue.
There will be filthy hacks. There will be embarrassing failures. Crewmen will fall. Yours truly might get thrown into the infinite nothingness of space. 8/10, would be backstabbed again.

@@ZackFreedman The easy way would be with touchscreeens, but that lacks awesomeness. The awesome way would be with physically different modules, but that would require someone to "build" the bomb before play, and that's kinda bummer. Can't really be the defuser.

That trend started with Wizard of Oz in 2014. The display isn't that important, anyway; the game itself is still very much mechanical. Take the glass off and see for yourself.

Look up aliens isolation game play. Thata an easy way to see it in action. Basically detects the movement of a Xenomorph. They are from riddly scott's aliens franchise.

Honestly, I'm gonna have to steal some of this and build some gear. I especially loved the card reader.
Me and a friend group of about 15 people have played Among Us IRL twice. We had a big warehouse (parkour gym to be exact) with very dim lighting, everyone was wearing goggles from which you could only see downwards 2m in front of you, wearing ear plugs and black non-descript clothes. There's plenty of huge boxes and mattresses to split the place into small pieces, corridors etc. Emergency meetings were called in with a WhatsApp group.
Our tasks weren't as cool as these, but now I have the reason to build this kind of stuff for this winter.

Like make the rest of the tasks and add a wireless system to link all of the tasks up so you can have a task meter.

No way. It's like a 3d scanner then an image match. It may not be as good as it is in the game with current technology but it's certainly not impossible. Probably ridiculously difficult and expensive though. Good 3d scanners can be thousands.

I love it, I'm most impressed by the file transfer animation because I don't know how you did it.
I recorded actual gameplay with OBS and replayed the video on the tablet. If you look closely, you'll see my screencapped mouse occasionally move over the animation.
I have no idea why you don't have more subs and views. This is exactly the type of content I want to watch in the intertubes.. funny and intelligent while showing off mad skills.. well done sir..
