A song for the ones who let go
It's the official start of Chapter 3! Thank you for your patience and your support.
All the songs of this chapter are written from the point of view of someone who is not the main character of their story.
Love U in particular is from the point of view of someone who is seeing the "Hero" begin their journey, and cannot help but reminisce. I would say that "Love" in this case isn't the romantic kind, but more platonic and maybe touching the line of unhealthy dependence. After all, this point of view doesn't consider the fact that they too will be struggling through the unknown by themselves, and they cannot imagine their "After" without the "Hero".
Also, I wrote this song long before I wrote Chapter 1, and you'll notice that the lyrics from Love U are the lyrics for the outro in the UA-cam version of If I Spared a Thought. The Spotify version does not include the outro because I decided that I would release Love U before releasing Chapter 1 on that platform.
