First off, some of those shots were amazing, like, had me stunned. Second, I thought a large percentage of the FX you used washed out the image to much and could have used more subtlety or no FX at all, it made it feel inorganic. A lot of the shots you used FX on could have stood on their own with the depth of the image, the beauty of the rock formations and all the Joshua Trees,the Milky Way, the clouds AND with it being a timelapse, I just thought FX were not really necessary but it did work in some places. Amazing work, seriously. I would like to have you do something for me, one day. One last thing. I would have liked to see you keyframe optical flares on the sun and moon, even when their out of the shot, use them to flash light at your transitions instead of flashing the whole screen on the music's downbeat. It would look like it was a natural light flash coming from the sun or moons direction blending your FX transitions. Just an idea ;)

I agree a THOUSAND percent! The work he's done is incredible, but allot of the FX seemed distracting to me. Overall, I felt allot should have felt more organic but it felt like HDR and allot of the optical flares were cool at first, but felt like it was overused.
What was the meaning of this comment? As the European settlers came across these indigenous trees (or technicaly they may not be classified as trees no sure lol) they tried to use them for fire wood but we're hard to burn so they named them after one of the Phrophets in there book know as Joshua. That's the story with I'm sure a lot less detail on my part. Ya'all get the drift no rift with❤
@@jawadkazmi8856 actually their book is the book of the Old Testament after the death of Moses God gave his power to Joshua to guide the tribes of Isreal through the desert into the land God gave them...Joshua ....then led the Isrealites with the power of God...through Yaweh's desert...destroying pagan tribes and cities...and finally led them to the land East of the Jordan...European Christians then named the trees after him (or cactus)...while settling the continent...and bringing Christianity...or the worship of the final Prophet and son of God...Jesus Christ to redeem mankind...Jesus, whom does not preach suicide bombing, beheading, martyrdom thru violence, that jews and christians are the infidels or that infidels must be converted or killed...and those countries that embrace that religion do pretty well ....while Islamic states, governments, and regions suffer violence, poverty, degradation of women and dictatorships such as the world hasn't seen in a while....the latest experiment in Islam... ISIS is being destroyed as we speak...by today's Joshua warriors...thank God our desert was claimed by people without such pagan beliefs...shalom.
