Descended onto this wreck 17 years ago. Saw a child’s suitcase and a shoe. Turned to my buddy, we looked at each other and both decided that this dive wasn’t for us.
nah that'd freak me tf out. about to start an open water course but idk if I'll ever have the balls for diving inside a wreck where people drowned, nightmare fuel
Think most wrecks have some sort of morbid history in one way or another, that’s part of the interest of diving them. Good look on the start of your scuba journey and I hope buoyancy control comes as naturally as breathing does to you 😉
Just did the same dive, aside from in reverse. It's quite intimidating and eerie going down that corridor with. single tank set up. The noise from the air escaping sounded like screams, I wasn't the only one to hear it. RIP to the poor souls. Good video.
I find all these shipwrecks interesting and eerie. I was told this had a haunting presence. But what fascinates me is that lugged. Still intake after 32 years.
Relatively in good condition for being down for nearly 32 years; looks like it’s been stripped over that time period. Bittersweet though since so many people died in it.
@@AndytheNorthernDiver In my opinion, I believe they felt that the video did not feel rushed, hence, it feeling much longer, much like a film then a quick clip
Just be careful with the Salem Express curse, it seems that people that go there rob the dead, end up in freak accidents, there is an account that at least 2 of the divers that recovered bodies from the wreck and stole some gold from the victims, were lost at sea, a while later in strange diving accidents. Coincidence or not, I always enjoy people that respect wrecks and people that died there.

I saw that same show in 2019, was on my first solo dive, I felt the same as you

I’d dive on the wreck, but not in it.

First time I dived it solo, very eerie. Second time was better with a few people and a lot more time to explore
Simply amazing 😻
Thanks - wish I had gone all out to make a film now rather than photography and a GoPro
@@AndytheNorthernDiver it’s working beautifully as it is!
Thanks mate, wish I’d have taken my video lights is all, colours would have been unreal!
الله يرحمهم ويسكنهم فسيح جناته وصبر أهلهم ❤😢

Shes asking if the claims that some bodies have never been retrieved and are still in the wreckage are true!
@@ysadoraoliveira4114 oh right thanks, I’ve heard those stories but have no evidence to prove it true or false

Thanks for that, as you can see from the video, the only thing we took was pictures and videos.
No chance anything like that happened 🙄
@alaincaspar2148 hahaha very Hollywood isn’t it!
I don’t know why such ships with our modern Technology not can raise after this Desaster for all the bodies and families.
Human error I guess
