I definitely recommend watching their 2023 performance of Arcadia at Benidormfest to get an idea of the actual visuals they will bring to Eurovision. This is San Marino so they kind of just throw the performers on stage with nothing. Nobody else at UVPSM really had a stage show.
I quite like this one. If you listen to it a few times its grows on you. Agree about the mixing of the song but this is San Marino after all and I am sure they will be working a lot on this whole production to make it better. I can see San Marino perhaps qualifying for the Final with this song.
Once again, the audio was bad but this is the tiniest country's NF, so you have to appreciate that! Megara last year were ace. They really should have won with THAT performance. When I heard Megara were in this selection, I was hoping they would win! When I heard they did I was over the moon! Such a great choice! The lead singer of Megara is a BORN PERFORMER! This year, San Marino are here to win! They are in the second half of the second semi final so they should qualify with Spain and Italy voting. How this didn't get to Benidorm Fest is CRAZY when you see some of the previous songs. Also, I would disagree about Ireland because for me it came alive live with the dancers. I think at Eurovision, the audio will be a lot better for you to hear and if it's anything like Benidorm Fest last year, the staging WILL pop. Megara are artists.
This song is absolutely amazing. I love the message in the lyrics, I love that it is in Spanish, and I must admit that I have never heard Spanish in a rock song sound so good (maybe only in Arcadia lol), they have great charisma and connection with each other, you can clearly see they are professional and that they have toured so much together which is present in their performance, I love the arrangement, I love the staging even if it is quite chaotic which definitely needs to be cleaned up, I love the vocals, her voice is great, I love the instrumental and the progression is really interesting. It is quite messy but I really like it. The song could be more refined but it is defiantly me thing and I love that it is so interesting and unique. This could qualify for them just as long as the staging is strong which I am not sure if it will. I think it will be between 8-12 in the semi and if it qualifies it won’t come last but not top 15 for me just because it doesn’t have that polish and mass appeal an entry ranked that high needs to have ot stand out from the pack. It is an 8/10 for me.
I agree with Luke, I am not picking up much of the lyrics from the singing. The beat and performance are nice, just the story of the song needs to be clearer.
I really love this one, Arcadia (their song from Benidorm Fest last year) was pretty high in my Top Songs on Spotify of 2023, so I already really like their style and type of music, and 11:11 is no different. I just think the live mixing in UVPSM was never really good from what I've seen in the last years, so I think under these circumstances it was still a solid performance. And if you remember Benidorm Fest last year, you know what creative potential they have, so I'm pretty sure the live performance in Malmö, with better circumstances will be *something*, in a positive sense. Really looking forward to this and I predict that this will get San Marino the best result of their Eurovision participation history.
