It's not much different than any major city. You need to be smart about where you go. Especially at night. Is it safe? Well there are areas that are, and a lot that aren't. By the harbor, canton, federal hill and fells point are all areas that most people go to at night for bars and whatnot and it's perfectly fine.

Awesome video. Beautiful shots. It’s really nice to see a positive video about Bmore. Too often I see people who have never stepped a foot in the city crapping all over it, just because their favorite politicians are trying to score political points. Anyway, love the video!
The reality is most cities and even smaller communities have rough neighborhoods and a heavier concentration of crime. Philly, Wilmington, Baltimore and D.C. have those same reputations. It use to be dismissed as poverty/drug/gang related issue. However, with the increase of mass shootings the past couple of years I think people are beginning to realize it can happen anywhere.
The Inner Harbor and the Mall across the street have been decimated by a lawless culture as has Fells Point of course late night when "THEY" gather. The City and State is now looking at ways to give that area a rebirth because it was destroyed by ongoing crime.
Both great questions. The aquarium is in Baltimore. Right on the harbor. DC has its own aquarium, but the National Aquarium in Baltimore is much bigger. As far as Amtrak goes, the closest station is Penn station in Baltimore which is probably 10 mins away on an Uber
I might not be the most qualified to give you this answer to be honest since I haven't lived there in some time, but from my knowledge the area around the hospital is okay but very close to areas you don't want to be in. Great video...I'm coming to Baltimore in July I've told to stay around the harbor because of crime. I really want to the city to get the best food. is this information accurate??? And does the harbor have the best food. Any advise?????
Around the harbor, Canton, fells point, federal hill are your best bets. Patterson Park is a decent area too. I used to hang out by the stadiums all the time too and the casino is on that end. There are some good restaurants deeper in the city, but you're not missing much staying close to the harbor. There are a lot of good ones in Canton and on Pratt St by the water. Little Italy is right there too if you're looking for Italian food

Personally I'd say Canton. I know it wasn't an option but depending on which part you live, fed hill and little Italy get a lot of traffic from people going to the bars or going to the stadiums. Canton gives you a little bit of everything. Close shopping, bars, still on the water, and relatively close to everything. Plus it's peaceful and quiet for a neighborhood in the middle of a big city. To answer your question, I'd lean federal hill over little Italy for one simple reason. It's much easier to find parking. Cross street market also has good restaurants and shopping and it's right in the heart of fed hill

There's a parking garage I usually go to by the harbor that's right behind the aquarium/hard rock. Not sure what the rates are but I want to say it's $20 for the day or there's hourly rates. Otherwise there can be street parking in federal hill but that's a bit more of a hike. Alternatively, there is street parking and garages in fells point, and you can walk around, or take the ferry across the harbor.

Nope. Plenty of areas around the city that allow take off and it's far enough away from the airport to not have any Class B warnings.

Y’all’s intro was fire!! Love all of the drone shots and transitions 🔥 we have been to Baltimore a couple of times but have never really had time to explore the city. Okayyy you guys visited the best brewery ever. There’s no topping that. Definitely on my list for when I’m in the area 👌
Thank you! We love some ministry of brewing! Next time you're in town you gotta check it out. It's wild because you feel a little mischievous drinking in an old church
@@TheDetourDuo for real! I feel like they should have named that place saints & sinners instead of the tattoo shop lmao
Oh that would have been good. or how about confession!
Hoping to find an affordable, safe place to stay on our visit. Any ideas?
I've felt comfortable walking around Patterson Park and Caton at night. Probably your best starting point if you're looking for some place downtown. Usually, I hang Arundel Mills and it's just a 15min drive/uber downtown
I'm going to guess that Tony is a Libra and Sarah is a Leo
Hahaha interesting!! Tony is actually Sagittarius and Sara is a Scorpio

I'm that guy born and raised in Baltimore.
Who🤔 said they from Baltimore?

I swear I said this exact same thing 😂
Wtf. I bet Daddy is proud 😂
He is really proud as a matter of fact!
Only tourists go to the Inner Harbor.
Well first off I disagree with that statement, but also this video is aimed toward tourists so...
@@stevefox898 I was gonna say like duh lol
