I love the idea of retiring these great men. It helps the church to appreciate and value them before they pass on to Glory. Many times we wait till they die before valuing them. People dont realize that these men are getting old, but because we still need the fathers of faith to live longer to strengthen and guide the sons, this strategy of retirement is therefore wise. Do you know that a massive part of the ministry burden and administrative work has shifted from Daddy Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo in their respective ministries. The idea is for them to have more time to focus on the most important things (prayer & ministry of the Word) and of course for their bodies to have more rest as they are not growing younger. Bishop Abioye will still be an integral part of the Church executive but he can rest now and support other ministries with his grace and wealth of wisdom
It is a new season for Bishop Abioye. Grace be multiplied upon you sir.
