17 km before Kavala, on the road from Thessaloniki, another typical Greek resort.
With just over 3,500 permanent residents, Nea Peramos is one of the largest towns in the Kavala area.
The history of this place, like all other Greek places whose name begins with "Nea" or "Neos", lasts about 100 years, more precisely since 1923, when the Greeks from the town of Peramos from Asia Minor, in a population exchange and after the end of the Greek-Turkish war settled today's territory and gave it the name new Peramos or Nea Peramos.
The great popularity of this place contributed to the rapid development of Nea Peramos, so here you can find everything you might need on your vacation.
restaurants, bakeries, super markets...with a smaller Masutis, while in neighboring Nea Iraklitsa, about 3 km away, you have a large Masutis and Lidl if you are a fan of larger markets.

In Peramos, there is one smaller and active gas station and one that is not working at the moment. Along with two gas stations in neighboring Nea Iraklitsa, you will have a choice when buying fuel, but LPG users will have to go to Kavala because these gas stations do not have that type of fuel.
There is a doctor in Nea Peramos but also a pediatrician and even 3 pharmacies in case you need such help during your vacation.
Along the beach, there is an organized promenade with lots of greenery, as well as cafes and taverns with beautiful gardens. In the main part of the season, the central street is closed to traffic, so you can enjoy your evening walks in peace.
In addition to the free children's park on the main promenade, there is also an amusement park for children.
For those a little older, there are several cafes with various programs, but the best parties are in the beach bars on the nearby Ammolofoi beach.
In the far right part, on the hill, there are the remains of the Byzantine castle and the city of ANAKTROPOLI, which you can visit for free every day from 08:30 to 15:00 except Tuesdays and holidays. An exceptional view can give you unforgettable photos, and the interesting thing about this castle and the city is that it was also conquered by our emperor Dušan.
On the far left is the port from which, among other things, ferries leave for the island of Thassos, which is located across from Nea Peramos, but these ferries only carry goods, while people can reach Thassos from the ports of Kavala and Keramoti.
You can visit three extremely beautiful Greek Orthodox churches in Nea Peramos: the church of Saint Emperor Constantine and Empress Jelena, the Church of the Virgin of Revelation and the most beautiful among them the Church of St. Nicholas.
Apart from tourism, the inhabitants of Nea Peramos are mainly engaged in agriculture, so here you can also enjoy local products such as grapes, wine, tsipuro, olives, oil... Since there is no larger, organized market apart from this improvised one, if you can't find a recommendation from one of the locals, you can buy all these products and much more at the market in Kavala, 18 km away, every Saturday from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. For those who do not go by car, there is a bus every half hour on the line Nea Peramos-Kavala, and the ticket price is 1.6 euros.
You somehow fall in love with Kavala at first sight or on your first visit, and for a deeper analysis it certainly takes more time, but what is it that you should definitely not skip, next to the market, if you are passing by like me.
Climbing the narrow streets of the old town in Kavala, at the end you reach the symbol of Kavala. The current form of the fortress is from the time of the Ottoman Empire, from the 15th century, and then it was built on the ruins of the Byzantine acropolis. There is an entrance fee to the fortress, and in the season it is open daily from 08:00 to 21:00. In addition to viewing parts of the fortress, you can also enjoy the open-air theater here, and the main attraction of the fortress is its highest point, the tower, which you climb up to by narrow stairs, and on the top you have an incredible view extends to all parts of Kavala. The ascent to the fortress is quite difficult. At the time of our visit, we paid 4.5 euros per visitor, but the experience and feeling after the visit are incredible good.
The aqueduct in Kavala, better known as Kamares, is another feature of this city.....

Odlicna emisija! Planiramo da ove godine u septembru odemo do Nea Peramosa. Ali, koliko vidim, slaba je ponuda smestaja na bookingu i u agencijama. Sta predlazes? Kakve su cene za sredinu septembra, ako bi se direktno trazio smestaj?

Hvala puno !!!Proširi pretragu i na Nea Iraklitsu koja je bukvalno na manje od 3 km udaljena a lako se pronadje parking (pogotovu u septembru).Ne znam kako bih ti pomogao oko smeštaja (izbacio sam i neki video kako pronaći smeštaj u Nea Peramosu i Nea Iraklitsi gde sam slikao neke kontakte pa možeš i to da probas) ili booking ili Nikana ili probaj i na google maps da pronadjes neke kontakte ali to nije skroz sigurna varijanta.Imas i airbnb koji kao i booking ima dosta smeštaja …

Hvalaaaa puno!!!Od Stavrosa ima još nešto malo više od 60 km odnosno još oko 40-ak minuta vožnje.

Hvala puno Đorđe.Upravu si,probao sam nešto ali nije ispalo kako bi se meni svidelo i onda ponekad kad obrađujem plaže ja ubacim sliku karte i...Potrudiću se da naučim da malo bolje baratam tim alatom u montaži...
Druže,prvi put idemo na ovu destinaciju...pa se razmišljamo između Nea Peramosa i Nea Iraklice...pa te molim da mi kažeš koje od ova dva mesta je tebi zanimljivije i kompletnije.Volimo duže večernje šetnje i imamo klinku od 10 godina,a igra ulogu i veći izbor kvalitetnih plaža.Naravno,planiramo da idemo i do Kavale više puta.Koje je po tebi bolje,zanimljvije i kvalitetnije mesto od ova dva?Unapred hvala...
Ja vam predlažem iraklicu, bolja plaza, nema buke, puuuuno deciji igralista, luna parkova, neje daleko od preramosa koji je vise za mlade i nema pravu plazu. A do amolofi ja za 15 min. Preporuka hotel kavala beach malo van centra. Ali izuzetan sto kaze Jagodina, hahaha...

Koliko je plaža Amolofi udaljena od Peramosa?
Peramos je dosta dugačak pa u zavisnosnosti gde pronadjete smestaj do Amolofoi plaze ćete imati izmedju 1 km i 5 km

Nevolim uske plaže jer kad je sezona u avgustu sede jedno drugom na glavi zato idem u nea vrasnu i asprovaltu veoma Siroka i dugačka plaža
