Local citizens of the village in the Kyiv region tell about their house being the “residence” of some Russian soldiers. It’s worth mentioning that the Russian tank crew liked the house as it had reliable windows not smashed or ruined by explosions. Therefore, they decided to destroy it by themselves.
Occupants took those citizens’ belongings they liked and used them, while the rest of things were thrown away in the streets. They broke doors in between the rooms and ruined sofas. Russians would sleep on the floor on the stolen matrasses. They blocked windows with sand bags. On the backyard they had their WC with a tell-tale inscription on it: “In charge of the john: Kazimirov A.A.”
Russian army didn’t have food, so they stole from local citizens and butchered pigs. Remains of the animals can still be seen near the house. Termakhivka hasn’t had electricity restored yet - so communication is cut off. Village citizens can only hope that their relatives and loved ones in the Kyiv region are safe and sound.
