There won’t be another iniesta he’s a legend for club and country great player and a great person he is everything that people love about the beautiful game.
Gonna miss seeing the illusionista for barca without a doubt. Imo the greatest midfielder of all time.
Right? Everyone says Xavi was the best midfielder for Barca, and he might as well have been, but I feel Iniesta always knew how to get out of those tense situations that Xavi didn't. Iniesta is the best imo too but Xavi is right there with him.
Iniesta is definitely up there but his idol Michael Laudrup was better
dazzaburger no way. IMO, iniesta is Zidane with worse marketing
it really does show that neymar did not come from la masia...
Barcelona will always have a brazilian star in their team,if they want to be succesful
@@jordanlajthia8916 no
@@seetsamolapo5600 a south american star*
@@jordanlajthia8916 I get why you're saying that Maradona, Romario, Ronaldinho etc etc but their best team ever had almost everyone from La Masia (Messi included although Argentine), the other guys were French and Cameroonian
@@seetsamolapo5600 yeah but the way they play, the way messi play is get the ball and dribble all is not a la masia way,its his dna from argentina
irreplaceable but many will fill the void.
One answer :- Riqui Puig
This comment is ageing well till now.... Hope it does in future as well.
sohail shaikh hopefully. To be honest Barca midfielders really didn’t show any flair and Riqui came in and was the best mid we had after they restarted the league especially his performance against Atlético.
@Bharat Ahir De Jong although good is still very different from Don. You can see he’s flourishing more when he’s moving the ball from the back. Iniesta’s position to attack and cause mayhem was more on the front lines and drifting along the LW. Something which Pedri does more nowadays.
@@sohailshaikh6226 not ageing well anymore. Pedri and Gavi have come in to the team. Similar age and playing position. Better players. Looks like a new Xavi and Iniesta link up. Puig is good but he has been surpassed.
If only Valverde will actually try out young players, and not just the same squad.. every.. single... week
They're coming!
Valverde is the rason why ???( they looking so bad, the way they playing under valverde)
14:46 Mingueza!
That was a fantastic watch, very insightful.
I remember that lanky guy!! Aleix Font Rodriguez, went to my school in Ireland for two years
Fantastic documentary to watch as a Barca fan, congratulations to upcoming young players for winning new trophies recently I wish them best of the best. 💕 love Barca From Hong Kong
Harry kane will claim to have devoloped those players
Tinter Trailers those jokes aren’t even funny anymore
Rufino Sanchez They are dickhead
Tinter Trailers :
Hayyan Shah only if you’re a loser
your mum's a loser
THERE WILL NEVER be another ANDRES INIESTA! Mans was and still is unreal!!!
Pedri 👀
Dude!!!! People make it look like la masia is the best school for footballers. They only had a great generation that’s all before that generation they used to buy their biggest stars, cryuff, ronaldinho, Rivaldo all came from other places... they had the busquets, iniesta and messi generation but now that this is over they went back their old ways of buying like anyone else... madrid had such generation in the 80’s too
Idiots that don’t watch the Barca system don’t know that iniesta is irreplaceable.
Mr Mortimer I agree iniesta is irreplaceable, how can you find a player who is perfectly synced with the ball, it's impossible
Mr Mortimer how about idiots that don't know the difference between the word NEXT and the word REPLACE
❤
@@masterend573 it's difficult but not impossible. Iniesta also did come from La Masia after all.
Iniesta is coming tn Japan!! Can't wait to see his performance!
The problem with Barca is the current board and recent managers aren’t brave enough to gives youth players a chance, they’ve gone away from their model they just throwing money at it like most clubs, they already should have had a la masia player in first team learning from iniesta sadly they going sign a player worth 50-100 mil to replace him, where’s busquets and piques replacements they aren’t getting any younger.
Ali Mohamed.
What makes the Barca board even worst is their incapability to identify the right kind of player for their system.
I can understand why more youth ain't coming out of the academy, because let's honest, having 4 or 5 really talented and advanced youngsters for their age all emerge at once just doesn't happen. You only have to look at Man United to see that.
Since the class of 92 they haven't had multiple youngsters all emerge at once and ones they do give a chance to turn out not to be good enough. (Looking at you two Danny Welback and Tom Cleverley)
That said, though, Barcalona should use their scouts to identify a top class talent, not just throw an outlandish amount of money at the first hyped "wizzkid" they can find because there's been many a wonder kid who's been wrongly dubbed as such and rightly gone nothing in their careers.
They really should've just signed Riyad Mahrez instead of Ousmane Dembele if they were really going the Madrid way of buying superstars. It's much safer to purchase a proven player then some unproven youngster after all
Barça is turning into the thing it hates most: Real Madrid. (like Obi wan telling Anakin "you were supposed to destroy them, not join them")
They had no reason to go and push for Neymar when Griezmann was already signed. Suarez, Griezmann, Messi and Dembele. I don't see a place for Neymar but Valverde does apparently.
The idea that Coutinho could EVER replace Iniesta is beyond ridiculous...
Paddy Mc. Definitely. He's a good *attacking midfielder/winger,* but Iniesta's one of the greatest deep-lying playmakers the game's ever seen. No debate about it. Coutinho will never be even half the player he was.
I've seen many kids commenting here about money, old staff etc etc! Basically thing is as the time changes! Club changes its style of doing things. They still have la Masia which is a mile better than any other youth system. If they didn't fit in to the status quo system they'll find future elsewhere eg cesc and icardi etc. Overall the objective is to be better not to repeat previous patterns rather adapting to the new way how football to be played. Innovation of today is tomorrows history so never stop inventing and dreaming high.
You might not find the next elite midfielder playing at an expensive sports academy but at some low tier
training facility. I think scouts shouldn’t be biased towards more wealthier camps compared to low tier ones.
This was really enjoyable to watch. It's incredible to see how La Masia has evolved since the golden generation. It's very pleasing to see that the youth ranks are winning competitions. It gives me hope that Sergi Roberto won't be the last la masia graduate to become established in the first team in the future. It saddens me to see Barca become more like a galactico team. They're gonna lose Jose Arnaiz if the club signs Greizmann.
I come from the future my friend, we now have Gavi, Pedri , Balde, Aruojo and are playing under Xavi. To say nonetheless things look very promising as we are building a team for the future.
@@sibiyelwedlamini1692only two of them are la masia though
I come from the future, there will be a young player named Pedri who will look like Iniesta.
good place for development.. it looks like the top university of football. Even they have the basketball and futsal team also? thats just great..i hope in the future any english team could reach this level.. im so positive arsenal, man united, city, chelsea and liverpool could also be this good on developing players and their style of play
Kemal Fajar Southampton and Manchester United are the best in England of bringing players through
Whos watching this after seeing the likes of pedri and puig this season...
I think the FA should reestablish the school of excellence it seem to have developed more players then the tourist attraction at st. George's Park
We have pedri now 💥💥
Xavi Simons
Thias 03 he’s gonna be great but he’s like 12
He's 15 so he will make his debute in the next 2 years
Riqui Puig
Thias 03 he went to PSG
Thias 03 Carles Alena
you interviewed Pep Segura, this man almost sold Riqui because he was too small.
abdelhak nouri was the future ineasta like player
Next stop: Frenkie de Jong (Ajax)
Good luck signing him 😉
2020: WE FOUND HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here on 28th April 2024, Aitana has eliminated Chelsea and here she is in this video 40seconds in , wow La Masia . She won a baland'or , best player of the year, all of them .
VISCA BARSA'
The new Iniesta is Xavi Simons
The La Masia is dying at the minute.
easy riqui puig is the best option or carles alena
Wow the futur of my club is in good hands 😍😍😍
Arthur + Coutinho are both capable of filling the void
Big Boy - Not even close. There'll never be another Iniesta. Just like there'll never be another Messi. Not in this lifetime. Players of the Maradona calibre only pop up once after numerous generations gone by.
There will never be "another Messi", but there will most certainly be a player who is better. When you watch players like George Best get superseded by Maradona, then Ronaldo, now Messi, each within 10-15 years of each other... lets just say the ceiling ever rises.
True progression is the rule of any developmental thing but i have to say in future if there will be any player better than Messi than he will dominate football totally just imagine dribbling, how it would be more better with100% success rate everytime hehe!
Don't purchase players from outside.... Give more chances to players who come from La Masia.... Only then they will be able to generate the magic which 2010-2015 squad did.... Visca Barca❤Visca Catalunya❤
To those who say La Masia doesnt produce talent anymore just wait for Carles Alena, Oriol Busquets(in the video), Riqui Puig and Abel Ruiz to join the first team hopfully next season and the season after respectively.
barca and Spain will never have another Iniesta
Valencia documentary next please
sergi roberto
hes a rightback now
Oh boy, this aged well
We can't get another iniesta we will see one of sad 5 season in history of football in talking about cr7 and messi retirement , so we can't find someone like them because they are the best generation of football history.
Arthur from Gremio for sure!!
"finding the next Andres Iniesta" might as well stop the search because we will never have another player like Iniesta , one of the best players oat how can he be replaced?
Hope Alena in few years
Footbal acadamey which produce the most players for clubs from top 5 European League(English,Spanish,Italian, German and French top league) is Barca's La Masia. By far. Just take a look at the statistics....
NO ONE REPLACE INIESTA! End of debate.
Pedri...
Eriksen 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Am I the only one who thinks Coutinho can replace him? He’s got everything to be best no.10 in the world, but keeps getting played out wide. Look at what he did this season with Liverpool before joining Barca. Everyone was talking about Coutinho earlier this season and not Salah. I am a Liverpool fan but also big Coutinho fan. Hoping he has a great WC so that people will recognize his talents again.
akmal rodzi nah no one will replace him but Arthur and him could both be close to him and Alena and Busquets to
Coutinho was nothing like Iniesta at Liverpool. He cannot play CM and cannot drop deep like Iniesta always did.
Coutiniho was that good at Liverpool the media just hyped him up to a ridiculous extent mane is a more important player for Liverpool than coutiniho ever was
We found him. His name is Pedri.
It may have been good to at least give a shout out to Cruyff and Ajax for their influence on La Masia. Also, hasn't La Fabrica produced more 1st division players than La Masia? Granted, many never got a sniff for the first team but I think I remember reading that somewhere. Having said that I enjoyed the piece and it is undeniable that La Masia shaped an era in futbol..
Edward Burgos They gave a SO to Cruyff... watch it again.
Phil Coutinho
ChickenMonster18 sure, steal our players
ChickenMonster18 - You're deluded.
Is an attacking midfielder that never once showed he was anything like Iniesta let alone his position in his 5 years at Liverpool.
To be fair he had an excellent spell in LCM or RCM under Brendan Rodgers, without the pressure or expectation to score he was much more focused on passes and assisting with creative play. Once moved to attack midfield he became obsessed with scoring wonder goals.
Under Klopp he also had a brief spell in midfield in which he was very influential, but the need for goals over creative play meant he was pushed back to AM where he'd have some 10/10 games scoring amazing goals and some 6/10 games where things wouldn't come off for him. He was definitely forcing the matter in many games.
Once he finds the balance between creative and tactical play vs his own induvidual attacking/goal scoring prowess, he'll be an immense fully rounded player.
I have not seen enough of him at Barca to know if he's making progress on that front, we may see next year in the CL.
Talia Mason then why steal him from Liverpool? Not that we care now anyway.
Hmmm I'm wondering about what Segura said about the Premier League buying the players that could have made the first team. Which players are those that are in the Premier League that would have been playing for Barca otherwise?
Arthur now and Xavi Simons in ten years
Who's here after pedri?
Was waiting to see xavi simmons
the video should rather be titled " FINDING LA MASIA / HOW BARCA LOST THEIR WAY "
The reason the rate of production has slowed down is because of the board, their horrible planning, and Barca B constantly purchasing players. Segura is part of the problem with his horrible signings. Gerard Lopez was a huge problem, he dragged Barca B down, and now they're not competing in Segunda B. With Pimienta in charge, the gap between La Masia and the first team has never looked closer.
longevity, another reason these players aren't getting into the first team.
Barca always nature talent
I'd like to nurture the talent of that 17 year old.
Impossível
Money changed everything in the last 10 years,, Had the best talents not left, we wouldn't have to buy players of 100 euros,,money is lurking the best talents from la masia but some mismanagement from coaching too is at fault
Barcelona just happened to have so many future world class players in la masia at the time and you can tell their not good at finding talent elsewhere
Denis Suarez
Pedri
Barca's turned into Real Madrid-- unethical behavior, splashing on galacticos, and essentially turning into a mercenary club.
And they still searching
It's easy : Kevin De Bruyne
Y no esta Aleña?
We found one. His name is Pedri.
The Barca way... As in the one they haven't used in years, making Barcelona just a club..
True Geordie and Laurence could’ve done this better
Jordan Henderson
hahahah
Like the british girl in the clip says: In England we pass from A to B and follow...Jordan Henderson
Pedrii
La Masia is at its lowest point nowadays thanks to the current board. I still prefer the way Laporta runs he club during his tenure
Mes que un club more la masia players in the first team
it’s pedri
La masia has produced great players barca are looking for a cm now let thiago go looking for a left back let grimaldo go its stupid to say it doesn't produce this board simply doesn't give them the chance they deserve currently alena oriol cucu are good enough to make the step up and help the first team yet they sign gomes vidal etc who have been Terrible and a waste of money
the new Barca way is to buy buy players for €100 million
Michał Turkowski no its not only this stupid ass board do it and after it will be the good old days of la masia.
Michał Turkowski well to be fair, Neymar did go for 222m, so Barca in reality had a net spend of 50m which is not that bad
Sad but true...
Marcus De Villiers wait what? Are you ok bro? I hope you realise Dembele is the world's bets talent. I highly suggest you to watch Barca's last game of the season. He was incredible
As for Coutinho, I hope you know he has 7 goals and 5 assists in his last 5 games.....
Neymar was injured for PSG's most important game of the season vs Real Madrid at the Bernabeu
You're very stupid if you think Neymar's worth 222m and Coutinho and Dembele aren't worth their price tags
Marcus De Villiers lol shut up. They are worth what we spent on them. Especially Coutinho. And Dembele is still very young. He is nowhere near his prime, and I already like his performances. Watch him next season.
Pedri?🤨
And again our own philosophy saves us😗
More than just a club! Political powers need to learn something from Barcelona Absolutely amazing!
But I thought it was Coutinho.... Nah, it's not is it.
Did this guy just said "The Nexsta"? What?
next star
they already have the next iniesta its coutinho
saj - You're deluded if you think Coutinho comes anywhere Iniesta. He's a good player but he's nothing compared to Iniesta.
saj Nothing in his game through his 5 years at Liverpool ever indicated Coutinho was anything like Iniesta. He never played in his position and is an attacking midfielder. Iniesta's game style was imbedded into him from La Masia. Coutinho even before Inter-Milan wasted him and Liverpool rescued him and revived his career has always played as an attacking midfielder.
A l e n a is the next iniesta.
Carles Alena is more of an Iniesta
Mikel merino
Overrated. Probably 35% end up successful superstars - the rest were treated like garbage.
as everywhere else
more like 0.35% end up as superstars, the amount of kids who go through these football academies only to be cast aside at the end is phenomenal.
Antoine Defo Yes thats the point. You've contradicted yourself. Then why make it a big deal about Barcelona Academy?
his1ojd Yup. So I dont get it why hype Barcelona Academy just because they have Messi.
Catharsis Fog Busquets xavi iniesta Roberto alba Messi pique? They all went there lmao
Denis suarez
It is a failure of any football academy if none of their players are making it to the first team. It is a problem in the system of their football academy or the board of the football club, that must be sorted out soon or else things will fall apart.
Musiala
Christian Eriksen.
Tajay Gordon makes sense
They cannot find the next Iniesta the way they're directing the club, you can't buy a player for 100+ Million euros and expect to be the Iniesta or Xavi or Puyol type of player, there are a lot of talented players with similar abilities to Iniesta like Isco or even Fabian Ruiz but still not quite Iniesta, they don't have the culture within they don't " Bleed " Blaugrana. I think you can find the next Iniesta in La Masia but unfortunately they don't have the patience to wait for a player to grow and develop they choose to pay 140M Euros instead. Sucks.
Carles Alena
impossible
Barca have massively declined in the past few years , i mean in the last 5 UCL's they got knocked out in the Quarter-finals 4 times...i wonder what really happened to them, it will be intersting if anybody shed a light on this topic.
As the years went on by the Barca board have complacent and have fallen away from their 'Barca Philosophy', which in essence is focussing upon youth players which may fill the void when the absences of the Golden Era of Barca start to become a reality. I.e. Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Busquets, Pique, Pedro and etc. However, the club has taken the 'buy now' approach to that of the big clubs in Europe- such as Real Madrid, City, PSG, United, Chelsea and etc. This isn't something you can do overnight, as proven by the countless failure signings of the likes of Ander Gomez, Paco Alcacer, Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina, Thomas Vermalean and etc. As a result, the brand image of the club so to speak, which was perceived as a cohesive Catalan based group of academy players who have known each other through the upbringing environment provided by the La Masia Academy- was lost. Fast forward to about 2015-2018 period, Barca have become a one-dimensional team due to poor coaching with the departure of Guardiola- yes bearing in mind they won a Treble in 2015 & a Double in 2016 and 2018. Nevertheless, they've lost their footballing identity and consequently are lucky to be even reaching Quarter Finals with the way in which the club is poorly run. It seems that as long as Messi they'll be fine, however, Messi is turning 31 this summer. How long will they keep relying on him to carry this to both Domestic and/or European success? Football is a team sport and all 11 men should be up to the same standard in terms of team equilibrium. However, it's mind-boggling as to how they came this far in the season unbeaten with a poor squad, an aging Iniesta barely capable of a full 90 mins, and out of form Luis Suarez, an inexperienced yet injury-prone Dembele, a poor defensive backline in contrast to other European powerhouses and a unstable midfield (other than Busquets). I guess it's ok if Messi can paper over the cracks for now, just like the last couple of seasons where he's been hiding their blushes. It seems that if Messi has a one-off game out of 50 played in a season. It's almost a certain loss for Barcelona. Would love to hear someone else's point of view, especially as to what Barca fans have to comment.
Mike Hasler what you said is obviously spot on , and i know that the reason they declined so much is because its so hard to replace those kind of players...but you can't deny that the board's awful decisions over the years also helped in that decline , since they completly ignored La Masia and just splashing money left right and center on players (most of them failed anyway such as Andre Gomes , Alcacer , Mina and many others)
Lol we won the treble 2 years ago.. talk about decline.. stfu
Winks is next iniesta
Struggling for starting XL for the last few years.
not in a million years
PEDRI
It's a profitable scheme for them. At the expense of very young kids who are taken but hey mes que un club, right?
What’s the point of this when baca spending 150m on kids 💀
Every club wants to behave as though they're different to the rest but as Barce have evolved from being in the shadow of the best in the world to one of the world's best, they've lost whatever uniqueness they claim to have. Poaching players, Furloughing staff and bullying smaller clubs. They're not special, money and power corrupt absolutely and it's no different with Barcelona
