I had the pleasure of seeing the Lung play at the super intimate Carlton Club, Whalley Range, Manchester last night. Dear goodness how amazing is this band and why are they still a dirty little secret .. . as much fun as that is? Super tight, wicked songs (the new material they tested out passes muster and then some), a front man who channels Ian Curtis, Jim Morrison and Morrissey and boy can they drive it home. The old gaff was literally bouncing! 2023. . . . .world domination at last?

Amazing how music has progressed... the guy in particular who's the singer in the past would have been the frontman in a band such as Happy Monday's, James, Inspiral carpets. Well, the former ones such as Happy Monday's at least.
