- If you are feeling called to be a missionary, you will need to raise support, money to live on as a missionary. Today I wanted to share the biggest reason people dislike fundraising. Its a simple mistake but can cost you and your supporters.

this is so super helpful!! i just recently completed a missions training and am now a full time missionary and in my first season of fundraising and building my foundation of a support team, and it has been really hard !! this was encouraging and brought a different perspective… thank you so much!!!

A month ago I was asked my Pastors son if I knew about YWAM I told him I did not and he should go ahead and share it with me. Now since last week I have felt led by the Holy Spirit, Jesus and Our Heavenly Father, God knows that I had questions about how I am able to go be sent, financially how could I go out and be full- time and previously felt missionary and also all this while I was thinking I was going to start my life and start renting and living a regular life where I was raised. I was curious and interested how I am able to do that while be away from home and not making money because I would be doing missions and not working. Missionaries from my church came in last week and shared with our young adults group at church, where they met, how they were able to go out and know God and make Him known, teaching us about missions, lessons they learn and experiences they experienced, and at the end of the testimony I went up to talk to them, shared my testimony and asked them how am is someone like me able to raise support they have been helpful It’s only been a while since they’ve been acquainted I am looking forward to ask more questions when I am able and they are available. I was given advice to write letters, call people and meet face to face, share testimony and raise support from our church, my communities and individuals. They told me to read the God ask, to find more resources and reach out to them for questions. I’ve now been the searching, soon to download or purchase the God ask. As it’s going to be important tool to learn, I wanted to get more information from you if you are able to respond to me. And if you have questions that have answers and respond with those or even questions for these missionaries, I go to a meeting that’s with a few missionaries from my church to talk about mission’s tomorrow. What is your question? I believe many of your questions will be addressed by the God Ask.
@@PhilipDosa How were you successful in bringing others to support you vision? I have heard very similar things. I feel I am on the right track, if it’s Gods will it will happen no questions asked. How can I keep myself motivated to keep searching? How can I get more meetings with more people? What is a reasonable amount to live on? I’ve never left the United States. I know I am not alone in the situation to raise support, far from it, likely way more than I can imagine/fathom. What should I be doing?
I suggest getting training on fundraising. Support raising solutions is who trained us, they are excellent.
