Travis, I barely ever fish a buzz bait and after seeing this video, decided to go out today (in the pouring rain) and throw one around at my local lake. Caught my first buzzbait bass and wanted to share and say thank you for the great tips and for providing a little inspiration!! If you haven't tried the swinging buzzbait by strike king yet, give them a shot! They scream in the water and both blow ups I had today, the fish came almost all the way out of the water!! Anyways, keep up the good work! Tight lines good sir!!
The best way to fish a buzz bait is at night in the middle of summer. I have caught a ton of quality smallmouth on rivers this way. Just use the moon for light. It truly is the most exciting fishing ever. Give it a try
man I'm not having any luck with my buzz baits. got a few spinner bait bites but I did good last winter. but I haven't used a trailer. I'm gonna try that tomorrow. thanks sir. god bless
sir could I ask a question. could you email me at FISHMAN.1972@yahoo.com. I've spoke to lucky tackle box but I need to ask the fishermen of the company other than the business. they helped but you'll be better help. or if there's a different way to talk just let me no. thanks.
Yea I love fishing it relaxing sometimes being disabled my pains get to me but I love to fish can't do much else. But I also am a single parent and run a non profit kids fishing group and me and my daughter have always went fishing with the kids have them rods reels and tackle. What ever we can and if they don't fish which I've felt bad 10 years. I found a way to get free ball cards. Music cards gmae cards like Pokemon and magic the gathering. And animal cards stickers stamps coins so this year we got all kids gifts and we give to every single kids. Not like a tournament there's only some winners all kids from 1 to 19 and if the family's really in bad shape disabled or single parent or both like me we help the mom or dad get a fishing rod and get to fish. Even a parent needs a blessing. So fishing right now beside god and my daughter's my life and I love it. So I'm glad your out there teaching me so I can teach others. Till I can't walk which I have to have my wheel chair. But till I can't walk at all or get it if bed in fishing and giving. And I've already warned my daughter if I get to bad she had to take me I'll lay in the back of the truck and fish with the kids at the lake and give my fishing gear away till it's all gone. To be honest I hope I never run out. To many yard sales out there to run out. I hope lol. But thanks Travis keep it up and god bless.
Travis Moran you guys should send out some shaky heads, also this box was fire, I don't have the xl but still the plastics and hard baits were great, and those flipping hooks! Great box guys
Is this the one were you blew it on Facebook your really good travis better than me for sure I'm watching you to learn but damn that was funny keep up the good work
boxes ship by the 10th which means they should have been sent out yesterday. I would imagine most people will be getting them early next week. If you have any more questions you can contact support@luckytacklebox.com
Bro I been using 65lb power pro in gin clear water on my buzzers over here in FL, the water i'm used to back home in AZ isn't quite as clear but anyway it has not made a difference I don't think the fish really see or care about the braid cause they are active fish but maybe if they were really spooky I would switch over to 20lb mono, I jus can't get with the fluoro on a buzz thing bro lol!
Travis Moran Ha word I hear u man, love the Havasu footage, makes me miss home, more of it please! Oh an if y'all can, go fish some other AZ water like Roosevelt or something, thnx for replying bruh! stay up!
Love the video bro! I do have a question though, in regards to color what is best used when there is low light conditions and when the skies are clear? Thanks bro.
I have 3 color I use. I use white in clear water, White/Chartreuse if the water is a little stained, and I will mix in black sometimes in low light and stained water. Hope this helps and good luck!
With a lot of fisherman that is the case, but I decided years ago that if I was going to try and teach people to fish, then I wouldn't try and have any secrets. The only time I will keep something secret is if someone else takes me out to one of their spots and asks me not to share it with anyone. Thanks for watching!
This whole vid I was trying to figure out what rod and reel you were using. I have a rebo sx from Abu Garcia. Couldn't tell but that what it looked like you were using as well. Can you clarify?
Also Travis, correct me if I'm wrong, but one thing I've found with buzzbaits is to not give up after a missed bite. There's been several times where I've been retrieving my buzzbait and a bass will hit it and miss, but I'll keep reeling in and it'll come back. Maybe this just happens to me. Any thoughts?
You are 100% correct! This is another reason to wait for the fish to "load up" before you set the hook. Fish will often slash at the bait at first and if you just keep reeling the fish will sometimes come back and eat the bait! Great info and thanks for sharing!
Wait for it to really load up before setting the hook, and even though it might not seem like it but you might be reeling it too slow, the trick to the buzzbait is to make sure you are reeling it to where the bass can’t get a good look at the bait.
They try and get it shipped by the 10th which means all boxes should have gone out the door by yesterday. Sometimes they get it out earlier but if you haven't received it yet I wouldn't worry I'm sure it's on its way. I'm out in CA and I haven't received mine yet either. You can also contact support@luckytacklebox.com if you want more details of when the box should be arriving. Thanks for being part of the LTB fam!
The reason you should always throw a buzzbait first when fishing from the bank, especially a smaller pond, is because of how fast you can cover water and the potential you have of catching the biggest fish in the area. Big bass love buzzbaits and it is very easy to make a few long casts and figure out if anything wants to bite. Once you have made casts all over the area you can switch to what ever other baits you usually use from the shore. Hope this helps!
i have a problem with my buzzbaits running sideways instead of the bait below the blade, was wondering if it's the knot I use..just confused what can I do to fix the problem?
Shouldn't be the knot. Just make sure the trailer you use is inline with the bait and that all the wires are bent in place so that everything runs straight.
Nice information for beginners, like 😃😃
wowww a lot fish...
Great Video Boys !!!
great video..!!!
Thanks for explaining what a buzzbait is supposed to mimic. I have always wondered what it's supposed to be.
really good video bro..will definitely tie the buzz on!! thanks

Travis has some more great vids coming over on his new channel:ua-cam.com/channels/d0u3RDe3O-G7eIDxGy99Pw.html

Confidence is key when throwing any bait. The more you throw it the more you will learn and eventually start getting fish. Good luck!
best way is to dm me on instagram. My name is travis_moran_fish
Ok thank you sir.

Is buzz bait just for clear water ?
Love the video bro! I do have a question though, in regards to color what is best used when there is low light conditions and when the skies are clear? Thanks bro.

Thanks for the info man, keep up the solid videos.
I have a buzzbait that looks just like that but how do you add the lure too it, just like you would normally or what???
Raymond Malone Thread the bait on so that it lies straight on the hook. Make sure the bend of the hook is exposed above the bait
Thank you
What lake was this
Luke B Bassin fishermen never reveal their spots
Lake Nacimiento in Central CA. I used to fish this lake from the shore and dream about one day fishing it from a bass boat.
With a lot of fisherman that is the case, but I decided years ago that if I was going to try and teach people to fish, then I wouldn't try and have any secrets. The only time I will keep something secret is if someone else takes me out to one of their spots and asks me not to share it with anyone. Thanks for watching!

Would you make any changes to your recommendations if using a sugar buzz BAIT? (Swivel hook) and would a 6:4 be good or should I use a 7:1 or higher
THAFAMASLEGEND I use 7.1:1 or higher. That way you can burn it or bring it in slowly.
I didnt hear you say what length and action rod you were using
Ok, I'm new, what is the thing that is on top of the trailer hook?
What is the boat or float you are on?? And how much is it?
This whole vid I was trying to figure out what rod and reel you were using. I have a rebo sx from Abu Garcia. Couldn't tell but that what it looked like you were using as well. Can you clarify?
Where you in a music video called this is how we roll ft Luke bryan
What size buzz bait do you use?
also what size swimbait?
Travis no wonder I subscribe to your channel. You do a great job. Very informative.
Do you ever fish in Canada. We have great fisheries.
Fished Rainy Lake last year with Scott and Roland Martin. Went out on some houseboats for a week and had an amazing time!

Awesome thank you so much man
Lmao I thought I was fishing a buzz bait wrong
It has shown my box as ready for UPS since May 4, but now that it's the 11th it hasn't updated at all. What could be the problem?
