Nick, you guitar daily series is great!!! ANd this is a great demo with killer playing... - The Ibanez is really great... - Greetings from the other end of the world (Germany) - Markus
@@NickGranville You are very welcome - your content is great.. - I need somehow to make your daily series add into a regular routine of my practice session.. - when you come to play in Germany (Southern Area / Bavaria) - I'll surely come to see you!
I got this pedal about 6 months ago and traded my Bogner Ecstasy Red for this. Couldn't be happier, love how it sounds and also very dynamic and has low noise.
It’s a good one isn’t it. I find I’m using the model of it a lot in the fractal too, cause it’s a pedal I love. Thanks for watching and congrats on getting the new pedal.
Thanks! I have a LightSpeed and aren’t crazy about it. But in saying that, I haven’t really used it to stack yet. I recently bought a OTB Custom Boost and I think that would stack great with the BB. Cheers
Great pedal and a wonderful company. I got mine way back in the early 2000s, it started to malfunction a few years ago (well out of warranty) and they let me send it in for a full repair no charge. Customer for life!
That pedal and the RC has (as the nly ones) followed me since they came out. The BB on and off the board, but for a long time it has been on. Its a really great pedal. Xotic said years ago that BB means Blues Breaker. Well, who knows… btw, I most often use the RC as an EQ, great when changing between single coils and humbuckers
Thanks, yes those RC’s are great. I’ve never owned one, need to change that. I like the idea of using it balance humbucker’s and single coils, great idea
Such a great pedal! I have the silver comp version of this.. I use this early on in the chain, low gain for eq and actually like a pre-amp always on pedal (I know it's not a pre-amp as such and is an OD) but its so dynamic its great for response and breaking up my clean amp. Stack it with a Light speed, ODR1, & BEffects Sick A. Covers all the circuits I really like!
@@NickGranville Its so versatile isn't it! and incredible quality. It started that way because I was using it as a heavy OD but the click when I'd push it on was so noisy. You could hear it go into the delay. Pedal fault caused me to try a different route and love it.
@@NickGranville Newer ones sound very different from the version you have, the old one. Now you can purchase BB Preamp comp - it sounds the most similar to the best old version, but still not the same.
Well things move on, and there are so many clones of things now. For example why buy an original TS pedal unless one is a collector. There are so many clones which are way better (I say this as someone who owns an original TS9 and a bunch of clones). Thanks for watching

A Greer Lightspeed stacks great before or after the BB. Great playing and phrasing btw.

Really like the guitar and how versitlle it is. Bought the BB, use it with an Ultraphonix 😊😊
Good choice! I’ve never paired it with an Ultraphonix but I’ll bet that’s a great combo.
Your demo convinced me, great job.
Cool! Thanks for watching

Love that Carlton vibe 😊
Thank you!
Thanks I bought a used one and love it. Your demo sold me
They’re a great pedal, you won’t regret it. Cheers
I just bought one and love it, gets good break up without sounding fuzzy. I stack it with a Wampler Moxie.
@@BernardDiaz-s5u nice!
Thanks
I haven’t tried a Wampler Moxie. What’s it like?
@@NickGranville ts 9 on steroids
Oh cool, that sounds like a useable pedal. That’s what I like about the cusack screamer -like a TS hot rodded. Cheers
Killer stuff man. love your playing bro. Big Love from England

Thanks for the great clip

I've heard it said that the BB makes a flubby bass nice and tight and much less wooley. Thank you for this demo, nice playing, tasty.
@@petergedd9330 thanks! Yes, the EQ is very very handy for shaping tones.
Still part of my rig teamed up with a Helix. (Along with many others in fx loop)
Nice! It’s still a great pedal
Thanks for the demo. Sounds pretty strong and the tone controls work well, like you said.
Thanks!

Very cool! Yes, that’s a great way to use it - as an always on pedal to EQ etc. Nice

Incredibly versatile and that’s one of the reasons I keep coming back to it
There is several versions of this pedal ?
I think there are now. I’ve not tried any of them though. I’m not sure what the differences are

Interesting! Thanks for that
BB? What about Ball Bustin' ??
Ha. Possibly 😂
Is it still relevant? That's like asking if the Nobels ODR is still relevant lol
