Subbed! Love this! Thank you for showing parts of this Davao area {I myself never been to Davao, but I heard good things about the city), the vibrant essence of the Filipino there, smiling and ready to take you in with hospitality. This video actually made me even shed some tears just seeing realities of life happening, watching these folks interacting with you captutred here on your vlog! Love that you love durian! You're amazing! Pinoy here watching you from Southern California, good ole USA! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
I love this episode so much. I keep watching other channels video clips about Kadayawan festival this year but yours is the only one that gave a complete feel of what it actually looked like.
Fantastic - you've picked up on the Philippines vibe straight away, night markets are amazing places. The Filipinas and Filipinos are amazing, always wanting to involve others in their celebrations and never shy on introducing themselves. Can't wait to go back to Samar again, no matter where you go in the Philippines it's the same, beautiful friendly nation
Yes, we felt the energy and the force of the Esquire Unlimited here in full prowl mode and his quest for sheilas and durian overload! The nomad time zone is hard to keep track of because globe trotting with LJ is live and direct!
ASS ASSUIE YOU SHOULD OF STAYED IN THE YOUR RICH HOME IN AUSTRALIA AND EAT YOUR VEGGIE MITE AND ALL YOUR VITAMINS SAY HELLO TO MY FILIPINOS IN BLACK TOWN THE PACIFIC ISLADERS SAMOANS AND TONGANS
Esquire you definitely hit Davao like a 💣! May have found your niche there with the attention and responses. Enjoyed it all! Keep’em coming you might find Pina ❤. Maybe get that customized shirt with “coming at you like a bomb”, or maybe not, because of the extra sensitivity they have from previous bombs and threats in Davao and Mindinao 😊
Always love the videos, vicariously living through your experiences. Reminds me of some good times spent in Asia when I was an Expat. Durian not my jam but I know many love it and in fact, if I’m not mistaken origin of Durian is Borneo and Sumatra but everyone has their own taste and sense of ownership for it. Lived in Malaysia for almost 4 years and it was a big thing locally. Keep it up Esquire!!!
Another good one LJ. I had no idea how friendly the people are. The girls are so cute and shy. Interesting fact about the origin of durian. Cool. Looking forward to the next episode. Cheers🥥sorry I could not find a durian emoji.
Great stuff esquire, maybe you should try a visit to Baguio, there are some fantastic 5 star resorts coupled with the coolest weather in the Phillipines...keep up the great work
Nice work LJ! It’s not for everyone, but I also love being in an Asian place and being the only westerner I see all day. Java back in the day was the perfect place for this…. Parts of Jakarta, Bandung, Malang etc. no-one spoke English in those places - probably still don’t. Was easy meeting people being able to speak some Indonesian though….Probably the happiest moments of my life were being lost and absorbed by the location. Enjoy mate!
Hello! Looked like fun! As usual, Filipino people are welcoming and friendly. Was in Cebu and Dumaguete in January. Think I'm going back in September, though not sure where. I like that English is spoken well there and it's very relaxed. It's an interesting place and people are awesome.
Us guys love it , when u put the random Filipina Sheila’s in front of the camera..some are pretty and some are plain Jane’s…but all Sheila’s love the white men from the west for sure..So the esquire doesn’t have to sleep alone at night unless he wants that..
awesome. It's definitely awesome the festival. Hopefully you get to the second last night i believe when all the provinces perform their dance to see who is crowned champion. The last day, floral float day is super chilled too. But agree the Bisaya folks are the most amazing and friendly. Was there last year with my best friend Tinay&Bem2x who's a local in Davao celebrating this wonderful festival and more. enjoy mate, we both look forward to watching more of your vlogs
Im thinking of visiting davao city next year for 2 weeks if i enjoy it ill go again and stay there longer im from Australia aswell i want to tour and taste there foods aswell 😊
there was someone pulling on my pants with their hand out wanting some money. I try to help where I can but I dont like the approach of being touched like that and I prefer not to put em on camera. Sadly there is a lot of poverty, it can be confronting sometimes and bring your energy down, just something u need to accept when u spend time here.

We need an Esquire origin series!
1: How it started?
2: Your transition to a digital nomad.
3: Best digital nomad country in SEA?
4: Esquires future?
comes down to the best visa option and cost of living
Is it just me or is Esquire finding more reasons to take off his shirt in his videos lately🤣😂🤣
