  • My Hair Is Falling Out! 😨 Hair Update & Life Update | Hair loss | Big chop?
Hey guys! In this video i will be giving you an update on my life and my hair. as you can see by the title, my hair is falling out and has been falling out for quite some time now. I go through the possible reasons why this is happening and what i plan to do about it.
Hair loss can be quite disheartening but the last thing you want to do is stress about it, because that is possibly going to make your hair fall out more. Just try to pinpoint what the issue may be and try to stop it in its tracks.

Stress can definitely cause hair loss! It happened to me. Just wanted to tell you to check your vitamin D and iron with your doctor because those vitamins being low affect how your body handles stress. I took those vitamins along with hair vitamins and my hair is getting thicker again.

Honestly i think that’s what really did it, stress and depression. I recently had a blood test again and iron is fine, not sure how my vit D is but I’ve been making sure to take my vitamins everyday like before. My mood is getting better tho and that is effecting the way I deal with stress 👌🏾

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way! Have you tried carb cycling? It’s supposed to be great for weight loss. It’s great cause you don’t have to restrict your diet that’s not sustainable. And you get to eat carbs every so often which is a great comfort food. Doing that with intermittent fasting may really help!

Thank you ❤️ No I haven’t tried carb cycling but i do tend to eat more on my strength training days 😅 I will give it a good go, I’ve tried everything so far 🤣 The depression just makes it hard to be consistent. I’m slowly losing now, but i defo need to amp it up, make more diet changes.

You may want to see a dermatologist. They can tell you if you have alopecia. If so, there are treatments you can try. You may be told not to wear hairstyles that pull on your scalp.

I dont think it is alopecia to be fair, but i will ask my doctor when i see them next to rule it out for sure 👌🏾

That silk pressing I see you have been showing those videos. Why I am not putting heat on mine.

I’ve been straightening my hair for years and the way i do it is safe for my hair. Did you not watch the video with all the reasons i listed? 😅 Straightening was not one of those reasons lol. Plus i only straighten my hair 3-4 times a year. Used to do it way more before with 0 damage or hair fall.
As i said my hair loss is due to depression and stress… and honestly i wish it was just the silk presses that made my hair fall out rather than depression and stress. But defo don’t put heat on your hair if you think it will fall out.

@@SarahNaturally1111 I hear you but the ends is what lead me to believe it was heat. Had to cut off a lot of hair to get rid of those see thru ends. I was blow drying my wash and go. You know your hair and health better than I do.

These hairs were falling from the roots with the white nib on top. Not mid shaft. If it were damage from the heat my hair would be breaking.
Hair loss whether it be from straightening or depression, will result in thin looking see through ends. That’s why it’s important to look 3 months prior to your hair loss and see what has happened in your life because it’s difficult to pin point the problem.
Yeah, i have been straightening my hair since 2004 and I’ve not had heat damage or hair loss because of it. Stress and depression tho… yeah, a few times to be certain that’s what it is.

Are you anemia? I was anemia and had very heavy period and my hair was falling out and breaking a lot

Hey! My blood work came out fine and I didn’t have many other symptoms of anaemia
