This is in my top 200 of Pentatonix songs *laughing*. Probably top 5. I love it.
This is from their "At Home" EP album that were all recorded separately during lockdown. That entire album is fire! I love it.
There are videos for nearly every song on it, the only one they didn't do a video for was "Cologne".
Their Home medley from that album is maybe my favorite.
The original was done by The Weeknd. Nice version but then when is their version not nice?

The Weekend....
They did this song as part of their Home Ep. It was,during lockdown when we were all stuck at home and they surprised us with an Ep. Each member recorded their parts in their own home studio then it was sent to an editor too put their individual parts together. To create a song. They also recorded their video parts separately on their iPhones and then that was. Edited together to get this video. It’s why they’re all in their own boxes. None of the were together when recording or filming.
They also had to do the arranging separately, so there was no jamming together and trying how the different parts sounded together before they started recording.
@sannalopperi-vihinen233 they said they arranged the parts over zoom.
@@PtxXtp I seem to remember hearing that as well. :) If you have tried to attend a choir practice by Zoom (I unfortunately have), you will know the lag makes it impossible to actually sing together. The best you can do is have one person singing alone and the others singing along their own microphones turned off. It's kind of depressing if what you really wanted to do was to sing together with other people. Hats off to people who can actually create beautiful and elaborate arrangements like that.

He said it seems to happen when his pinned comment is being used as a chat room (Trouble Section). Haven't heard anything more. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

36.- Michi: Michi was linked, unintentionally (and I'm sure of this: unintentionally) to a great family drama, and to two other great lessons. Michi was a huge golden cat who "adopted us". He must have been about 4 or 5 months old when we first saw him, lying on a stone table, asleep, and shining in the sun, as if one of the rays of light had left him there. He made the decision to stay the moment my grandfather smiled at him, but he never pretended to be a pet. He lived his life, came to eat when we called them, accepted the rest of the animals as if they had always been companions, and only accepted caresses when we offered them. He came to lie on our laps if we called him, purring as if he had a diesel engine inside, and we never heard him snort, not even a bad gesture.
Michi grew up as a cat just like Tan grew up as a dog. It was a pleasure to see him walking slowly without making the slightest sound with his steps, moving in that feline, elegant way. And keep shining in the sun.
One winter morning I found him at his stone table, warming himself lying down, and I wanted to take him in my arms. I surrounded him (and he closed his eyes, thanking for the hug, as always) and began to lift him up. At that moment, and in tenths of a second, Michi bit my right hand, the one that was right in front of her face, in that "soft" part between her thumb and index finger. At the same speed that he bit, he released me, and I just stayed still and slowly left him in the same place where he was.

Unlike many of the songs, I had actually heard the original of this song before. This is great!!! Such an 80’s sound.
The song writer nailed it on this one as far as a hook that stays in your brain.
Ooooooooooo I’m blinded by the light and Oooooooooooo I’m drowning in the night. I could listen to those parts on repeat. They blended perfectly there. Absolutely beautiful. I agree with you about the beautiful sound when they sing the “so I hit the road in overdrive”. They blend everywhere perfectly actually.
The folks in the Mission Control center 🚀😉did very interesting things with Mitch’s part. To me anyway, they were able to create that 80’s sound. I love what Mitch did on the word touch at the end. Perfection!

So, other than that, I don't know. Seven dust, but it'll kill the bees, so I never use it. Too hot to use soap (will burn the plant)

Rested yet? Welllll, not exactly because the Evil 😈 Bro has me doing crazy stuff as usual. Make a pizza, make egg bites, (keep in mind he is struggling with blood sugar so all of this cooking has to be no sugar and very few carbs and I have had to research the heck out of this to find recipes and then do things to make them better) make me sugar free tea. I need you to take my wife’s car that has no brakes to get it fixed. The car is ready, go and pick it up. But he LIED (sorry, shouty) about that one and I waited 6 hours for them to finish. I was so mad, the amount of name calling that was happening in a text message was off the charts! I can laugh about it now but at the time? No laughing was happening that day. I was stuck there too, the people that went to the wedding dropped me off! Okay so I kinda get mad thinking about it. 😂
And it is SO hot here! 103 yesterday, they are now forecasting 105 today, and then 107, 104, 100. I think the weather is actually depressing which sounds crazy. I asked Annie 🤡 about this and she said that my Dad said it was from the high pressure in the air pushing down on you and that the heat just makes you mote tired. I can actually say that I feel sorry for Evil 😈 Bro #1 (okay Sorta worry about him) because he is out working it the heat. And then for some unknown reason goes for a walk after work, 3 miles. Out in the middle of nowhere, not a house in sight. I told him he was gonna get heatstroke on one of those walks and have no place to go. He replied, I will just call you to come and get me. Yeah that is what I thought. 😬
Annie 🤡 is doing okay, mainly worried about her flowers in this heat. It will be a miracle if they make it. Her leg is doing okay, she has to go off and on the antibiotics because they are so strong and wipe her out. I worry a lot more about her these days, probably too much. She just seems more frail to me. 🤷🏼♀️ 😢

Hi Lana, Anne was on to me earlier when she spotted this. I take it, it’s just a strange glitch. I went searching and I see that my pinned comment is still on my latest messer video but I can’t find any pinned comments that have a trouble section attached. Maybe the tube doesn’t like the idea of a pinned comment being used as a chat room. But I’d put my money on it just being a glitch.
