I love this site & Praise God for it! ❤✝️ "Sin" literally means to "miss the mark". So, what is the "mark"? Perfect obedience to God(see Mt.5:48 see also Mt. 22:34-40) 😮 well, none of do this (Rom.3:23) & this is why we require a Savior to be forgiven & reconciled to God. When we are new in the faith, we come to understand that much of the behaviors & thoughts we practiced, maybe even daily, miss God's standard. As we grow in Christ, by asking God for wisdom (James 1:5-8) and as we learn to study & depend on God's Word, we are able to understand more clearly what "sin" entails, especially by studying both the Old Testament & The New Testament.(Rom.12:2)we become more sensitive to our own sin & realize that anytime we put SELF before God, or Others, we are in sin (James 4:17) ...and this is why that even though we are "born again" aka "Saved", etc...many Christians say, "I am a sinner, saved by Grace"😊 As we are transformed, like our Father, we grow to hate sin, but as Christians & followers of Christ, the sin we hate the most should be Our Own, so that we, like Bro. Paul proclaim, "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." - Romans 7:24-25❤✝️

@@BENJAMINJAMESSMITH2000 So, a person can call on the Name of the Lord and have their sins forgiven, repenting of their sin, confessing His Name, and be filled with the Holy Spirit and still not be saved until they are baptised?
Sin is disobedience to God. Most are too horrifying to mention. But all them can be forgiven but one. God is just and he is willing to forgive you of your and cleanse you of unrighteousness. If you sin confess it to Jesus and you will be forgiven guaranteed!

Sin is the condition into which we are born. It is who we are since the fall, since Adam’s deliberate disobedience of God’s command to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden. At that time death entered the world. All of us die, all of us are sinners. It’s who we are, not just what we do. The unforgivable sin is the sin of denying the Holy Spirit. The doctrine of sin is really quite simple. Jesus commands us to baptize. However, it is not necessary for salvation. Believing in the name of Jesus and his work for us = salvation. We baptize because Jesus said, “ make disciples, baptize, teach.” 23:29
What is the deadly sin that was committed by Adam and Eve and which continues to this day? Is it eating the apple? We still eat apples to this day. The sin is NOT to obey God's commands and follow our own free will. Adam and Eve were just like us in terms of intelligence. Eating the forbidden fruit did not give her intelligence or free will, she was already an intelligent person with free will which is why Eve could decide to eat the forbidden fruit. The Lord's prayer: the covenant with the Christian Gentiles, clearly states that to pray to the Father that His will be done. We should use our free will to do God's will.
Who delivered Jesus to Pilate? The High priest. Right. The high priest knew the LAW, Knew the prophecies, and then They rejected the MESSIAH, by rejecting Jesuschrist as the MESSIAH; they committed blasphemy against God, and that is like HIGH TREASON, and that Sin is unforgivable. A Greater Sin.
