The Buch extension went down after I recorded, but good on the Blues for keeping him in their core! They probably could have got a good return but respect that they keep him rather than giving him away for an underwhelming package.
Buchnevich getting signed is the absolute right move no matter what any Blues fan is telling you
I dont understand how the joseph contract is bad. His speed and depth scoring he provides will be missed. I wonder if the situation with Alex Formenton is cleared up or not 🤔
As a Blues fan I am happy! Solid ownership, solid management and a re tool on the fly that is looking promising! GM Armstrong has said multiple times he likes this group and he will add pieces to help that.
That Joseph contract is odd. We still need bodies to compete... And he obviously wanted to stay in Ottawa. Between him and Jakub, maybe it's to share up the locker room ?

As a long time Blues fan, they improved their team in the immediate future with zero commitment long term. I love the moves. They finished just outside of the playoffs last year during a retool. People need to stop shitting on STL.

@@HotTakeHockey also the blues have got deeper this off-season. They aren't out here making a crazy splash but this team is not that far off from being a playoff team and I think they are one this upcoming season.
