- As a Critical Care Nurse in the Navy, you make a difference in people’s lives every day you come to work. Go outside your comfort zone and prepare to meet service members at their most vulnerable-often only moments after they’ve sustained a critical injury. It is your responsibility to provide them the best care possible so they can safely return home to their families and loved ones. Beyond that, enhance your medical career by working with the latest tech the civilian world won’t see for years to come. This is one of our most rewarding and life-changing roles. I want to be a nurse in the navy, but i hear all military nurse corps are so competetive now. I just hope i can get in.

Just over a year left until this becomes my life, so exciting!
Coming from an Air Force Nurse, I should have joined the Navy because they are just a little bit better. But in places like Afghanistan, we are all on the same team!
As a former FMF Corpsman and current ICU nurse I think this video is so cool! Makes me consider military nursing!
If I may ask, what steps did you take from leaving the military as a FMF Corpsman to get to be an ICU nurse? Thank u
Don't do it Andrew!!! (I know who you are Mr. CSULA Almuni! haha)

I was a nurse in the Brazilian Army for 8 years and my dream is to be a Navy nurse. But, I have 33 years old and I'll move to USA in 1 year yet.
Is it possible for me?
Godbless!Respect!
Can I still be a Navy nurse if I enlist now but with high ASVAB scores?
I never went to college and I’ve been working in the fields and I want to make a change in my life I’m really determined when it comes to studying and hard work because I’ve been told so many horror stories about the ASVAB
M3xicanvoodoo yes
The ASVAB has very little to do with becoming a Navy Nurse. You have two options, come in as a Nurse or come in enlisted (doesn't matter rate) and put in an Officer package to become a Navy Nurse.
You have to finish school first. You can't join the Navy and expect them to train you as an RN.
Officers job is not the same the Enlisted
Im a nurse, Im european married to an American, could I become a navy nurse? Can you have a family and be a navy nurse?
@Marthe Endresen It Depends on your age, health, physical fitness, resident status. Like if you hold a green card etc. You can also locate a recruiter in your area who will walk you through the requirements.
