Does connecting this in with Synology make for faster downloads on shared links? I have 5 Gig fiber upload and download, but the speeds are super slow for shared links
I have local IP addesss for multiple servers (Turnas, synology, esxi) would this enable me to connect to them on the web browsers or is this just explicitly just for router VPN access only. Thanks Will
Thanks for another good video. Unfortunately UniFi do limit you to TCP connections. I'd prefer them to allow TCP and UDP - and even to allow one with fallback to the other. At least Synology allows you to chose either (but not the fallback).

This was a HUUUUGE help, thank you! I love your videos, very helpful.
I'm with you as I also LOVE OpenVPN. I'm actually in the process of changing this for my client.
Great video!

what ports should I forward to the UDM Pro to get this to work if my UDM Pro doesn't have a public IP address?
If wireguard is good enough to be included in the Linux kernel, I'd say it's pretty mature and not at all a 'hack'. It's the future
Have you tried tailscale? I have always heard its safer than openvpn as its not exposing any ports. And it does not require ddns or static ip to work.

Thanks a lot, very useful info, regards!!! 🤝
Update: STARLINK now has the option for a public facing static-IP
Great info! Thanks
Can you do a video on open vpn clients? I'm struggling with that to get it working with my PIA vpn sub.
How to ensure that the client receives a permanent private IP address when connected. There is a possibility ?
What about 2FA?
