- This is our Jané Crosswalk
I'm posting this so other people don't make the same mistake as us and buy a pram that within a couple of weeks of use decides to steer itself, often towards traffic in the road.
After emailing customer services at Samuel Johnston, they have asked us to box the chassis up for collection, leaving us with no pram, effectively grounded at home.
They have made it clear that Jané are not prepared to provide a loan chassis, and have offered to expedite the process so we should have the repair in 5 and not the normal 10 days.
This pram has had little use, and started to behave badly after only 20km of use.
I now have little choice but to buy a new pram and then seek for the entire Jané crosswalk/koos (+isofix base)/transporter 2 to be returned to Jané for refund, as I'm am not prepared for my wife to be stuck at home for that long.
I have heard anecdotal evidence of other manufacturers being far more understanding regarding the use of their product and replacement. It is a shame that Jané are not more understanding.
I'm not saying don't buy Jané
I'm saying only buy Jané if you are able to go without a pram for some time if it develops a fault.
We have had this problem aswell. However we oil the wheels weekly which helps a little.
i think you don't know there's buttons in the front wheels that block them from rotating or unlock them . i've never had such a problem with mine
we fixed that with wd40. you have to remove the wheel and spray the metal bar. Hope it helps.
please how you removed front wheels from holder? not just from pushchair. thanks

Здравейте, съжалявам за късния отговор :) това ни се случи с Jane Crosswalk Matrix 2016 модел. Успяхме да я върнем в магазина и да си купим нова - пег перего, от която сме много доволни
