All the other Villains have restraints like Frieza will sit in his pod and let his men do the work, Cell waits at his arena, Buu is fused with other beings, but Broly no he’s a different story, the only restraint he has isn’t his own and once it’s gone everyone is.
I saw this as a kid when I was at a friends house this part of the fight felt hopeless I really thought it was over for them but coming back as an adult I appreciate the brutality so much in this movie

This has got to be one of the most painful experiences that Goku ever had to go through. He must have bad ribs. Still, he must be pretty durable to survive that. Nobody else would. They would just be dead. He is lucky.
To be fair, he's the main character. Even if he had the worst durability, he still would've survived just because he is the MC. So, it's not luck, but just plot armor.

There's something unique about broly that I don't see in other DBZ villains. He reminds me of the joker. The madness, the strength and evil makes him the perfect Villain for goku above all else.

I swear, '90s DBZ is so PEAK. It hits home. The soundtracks. Not shing away from showing blood. No addition of any divine entities. Just protecting Earth from extraterrestrial and worldly entities. You truly felt immersed and emotionally connected to the characters and the characters themselves felt alive with each having defining personality traits. The artstyle is unparalleled. Better than Super in every sense possible.

I stopped watching the Dragon Ball series after the last Dragon Ball Z finale, but I still follow Dragon Ball pages on Facebook.
I saw in the videos on their Facebook page that Goku reached his Ultra Instinct form in the Dragon Ball Super series, I think Ultra Instinct power is a pretty overpowered Super Saiyan form for Goku.
I wish Goku to at least somehow lose his Super Saiyan powers and encounter much stronger enemies in the new series of Dragon Ball. I think enemies that will push Goku much more are needed.
Such enemies should be like Broly and they are much stronger
I think the fact that Goku has too much overpower does dampen the excitement in the series a bit, because with this excessive Ultra Instinct power, Goku's ability to easily defeat enemies is like eating a meal with no salt in it.
